I would make sure to upgrade those cables on those batteries and use the same size OFC copper wire going to each. Ton of power with 400ah hooked up to a 3000w inverter. Just a heads up

@@AlexTimm I just did the same thing with 2 200ah batteries and used 2/0 gauge welding cable from amazon. They are pre made to whatever length you need and not too expensive.

I would recommend changing the jumper cable ends to terminal ends. That way you don't have to worry them falling off while traveling.

Great content! I was going to do something similar in my shack but didn't want to dedicate such nice batteries and inverter to the fish house only. I'm starting a big power box soon - 400ah of Lithium Battery, 3000w inverter, battery charger & solar panel to charge it & some 12v outlets to use for fish finders etc. You can leave in the back of your truck and plug it directly into the fish house, (still turning of the PC breaker) and power your house, microwave etc. No mods needed the house then and still have your sealed acid batteries as 12v backup should you run out in the powerbox. However, you can also then use it as a battery backup for your house as well, IE: what ECO Flow and those companies promote. Best of both worlds, and you already have nearly all the equipment to make it happen!

I suggest up sizing your wires on the 12vdc side. That 3000 watt inverter can pull up wards of 250a or more on the 12volt side. I used 2/0 marine cable in my similar build with a 2000w inverter.

@AlexTimm it's a nice power setup to have! I have a cargo trailer that I converted to camper/ice house. I installed 600w of solar on the roof as well. This fall, I spent a weekend running an electric smoker all day, watching some tv at night, running an electric coffee maker in the morning, and ending the weekend with about 80% power left. I'm just waiting for some good ice to get it out this winter!

I agree that every wire between batteries and batteries to inverter needs to be very large to carry 300 amps without getting hot. A 100 amp fuse on each battery would also be a good idea for safety from human error or equipment failure. The current wires would be a fast fire starter if you turn on a 120 volt AC microwave oven.

I am reaching out to see if you can recommend me to the purchasing manager or the person in charge to discuss about how to be his supplier

They actually don't come from the manufacturer with any, you add your own or purchase through the dealer. These are the base option though from my understanding as the cheapest starting out. Not meant to be the long term solution with those I can't imagine

Have you been happy with the capacity? I'm thinking of seriously going lithium in my core ice house but dont know how much capacity I'll need for a long weekend with furnace and tv running.

I’m running amped in my MegaLive shuttle and amped for trolling motor and again for electronics. Not sure I’ll switch for cranking battery regardless of the now stated ability they can…..I dunnnnooooo. Have you/would you go Amped for cranking

Yeah, I wouldn't switch over to lithium for cranking yet
