The smoke tactic works with the 3.5x thermal you unlock via the rpk. I too tried doing the holotherm tactic at the start of mw2, only to be bitterly disappointed. It is very fun though covering the map with smoke, hopefully you retry it another time!

Smoke airdrop has a place in invasion and ground war. Certain things are meant for certain game modes with “that’s just how I play” as a secondary thought. Some things outperform others naturally more consistently. From an efficiency standpoint, that’s your best bet

Holotherm sight on a shotgun with smoke grenade, smoke airdrop, proximity mines and cluster mine was originally my go-to setup

Went up against a team of all knifers on shoot house and they were using these smoke drones. It was honestly pretty scary seeing them all emerge from the smoke at full speed, knives drawn.

Smoke airdrop is a really fun field upgrade for attacking objectives. Drop it right on the point and push in with thermals, or cut off line-of-sight from the enemy, forcing them to push through to attack you. It's a bit awkward to use, in my opinion, but if you can use it effectively it's really fun.

I use the smoke airdrop and I love it. It can really change an objective based match if used well. Especially with a party.

Funnily enough, me and my 2 friends, when we play shoothouse or whatever, we all run the smoke setup with an extra smoke grenade. Whole map is smoked out constantly 😂😂😂

I use smoke airdrop all the time. It's great for when you're winning in domination or hardpoint

I honestly use the smoke pretty frequently. It gives you a free 80xp and i like to youse close quarters guns. You can sneak around in the smoke with it pretty well!

i used it on the deagle, some lmgs, battle rifles, and smgs and it worked well. smoke the obj or a choke point and you can mount up and hold the angle.

I would honestly say for the darker maps like shipment and crown raceway, the holotherm is easily a great optic to use since it also has a target highlighter integrated into the thermal sight.

Damn, please don’t tell everyone about the smoke drop. That thing is absolutely fantastic for objective gamemodes, I run it on like 70% of my classes. Plus the 80xp is nice too. Not gonna lie though, I never knew you could rotate the direction the wall goes. Never noticed that on MnK

100th like! Digging the content. Not too far behind you on the golds. Sitting at 13 with 4 on the cusp and 5 about halfway there. Trying to focus on the harder guns first (semi auto, burst, launchers) though. Sprinkled that M4 and SPR in so I wouldn't go too insane. Keep it up though. Again, digging your uploads.

They need to add a playlist for grinding Longshot challenges so Tier 1 isn't completely ruined. No one wants to play objectives.

Just a heads up, you can use a bipod attachment for mounted kills to speed up that particular challenge

i for sure thought you were gna talk about a gun. i use the hell out of the smoke drone. good for blocking off site lines for pushing or smoking out a point for easy defense. i see it pretty often when i play.

The HoloTherm works better if you actually ADS then push shift ( On PC) to enable its thermal capabilities. You werent running it with thermal enabled it goes to a darker hue of orange when its enabled then u can see thru the smoke lol

It's not a thermal optic it just highlights targets. I wish it were better because when you fire it the gun smoke blurs out your vision of the optic and it's trash!!

Have you ever thought about doing an Xmas special? Kind of like the 1 hour of COD video but maybe with good clips of the year ECT. And maybe preload it for Xmas Day so it doesnt conflict with your own Xmas plans. I know it seems like everyone will be busy ect... But as someone in this position this year. You would make ALOT of your fans who cant spend xmas with family, or don't have anyone to spend it with VERY HAPPY! Maybe ya can add a few little top 5 moments. Or streaks. Add yoyr little Rich flavor with re-commentary over the top of some to explain some of your thinking ect. Seems like alot of work but just use your channel analytics and cut some cool bits from each of the top videos ect. Do a bit of commentary maybe. I dunno people sleep on the preloaded Xmas content but IMO there isnt a better way to get engagement and new loyal subs. And you just have the perfect Xmas Content vibe. Not a single toxic trait in your emotional vocabulary
