At around 130 AP nunu's snowball at rank 1 does more damage than lilia's W. You have until lvl 8 to get the 130AP as that's when you'd level up W.

For example w is a fixed animation. You should be hitting e every time its used and using q/flash to dodge it. Also being in the center of the lilia q deals no damage early so staying on top is good but if lilia spaces you save w to block a sweet spot q.
