No one can say exactly how many cameras there are in China, but I can tell you that the density of cameras in China’s big cities is no more than in London. China's security does not lie in the number of cameras. If cameras could solve a country's security problems, things would be much simpler. All countries need to do is install cameras. Would installing cameras also solve the problem of homelessness and panhandling? However, there are almost no cameras in rural China, but there are still very few vicious crimes and you will not feel unsafe. In London, which has the highest density of cameras, you can still feel uneasy walking down the street at night. 2. Foreigners entering China do not need to register at the local police station in the city they are visiting. Only when you need to live long-term with relatives and friends, or need to rent a house, you need to register at the police station where you live. 3. When foreigners enter hotels in various cities in China, they must stay in hotels that are qualified to receive foreign guests. This is not only true in Xinjiang, but also in other parts of the country. The hotel has no relationship with the police and the system is not connected to the police department. China has been implementing it since the 1980s. At that time, there were many crimes against foreigners in China. They were robbed, stolen and even killed at various hotels. I visited China many years ago before mobile payment became the default mode of payment. But is cash still accepted as payment? I understand they cannot reject cash payment but tourists would need to have the exact payment otherwise they may not have the change to return to him?

6. the restriction for public religious activities is not for Muslims only. It is for ANYONE. Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity... You can do whatever you want at your home or designated places like temples/mosques/churches.

I visited China many years ago. At HSR stations or at airports, they have kiosks selling SIM cards from various telecom providers but the one I bought was China Mobile. Alternatively, you can also buy it in town.
