This song is all about struggle love.No woman needs to experience pain for her to be worthy of a man's love.
@deshaunx7762 жыл бұрын
Ok That isn’t the message of the song though. It has nothing to do with self-worth. This song is about putting effort into a relationship and understanding that working through the “pain” can lead to a deeper and more secure bond. Pain here can mean ANY unpleasant times. If you break up as soon as things get rough, you don’t want a relationship- you just want pleasure.

I grew up listening to this song and it took me many years to understand what she is saying. Simply put: "You live and you learn" and unfortunately alot of learning will come with heartbreak and pain: Whether it be a man who broke your heart, a death in the family, or getting fired from a job. The fact is that there is "duality" in everything: Good and Bad, Pain and Pleasure, Happiness and Saddness, Positive and Negative. Positive and negative energy is in everyone and everything down to the Protons and Electrons in an atom. I spent most of my life trying to avoid pain and negativity, and it just drove me crazy (anxiety and depression). The best thing to do is to learn to accept both...to "live and learn", " to have the serenity to accept things you cant change", to survive the ups and down cuz you cant go up if you are not first down..."no pain no gain"❤
