No power, high heat still affecting Texans after Hurricane Beryl

Why does every news/weather channel continuously perpetuate that Beryl was the cause of global warming?? claiming that is the reason the oceans temp increased by 2 degrees? When Meteorologists understand the real cause is actually because of the El Niño effect that happens every 5-8 years, which increases sea temps by 2-4°F due to the south shifting jet stream, also causing there to be no wind sheer to slow down hurricanes.. This is why forecasters were already predicting this year to be so active, comparably to the last big El Niño effect in 2014. Look I dont doubt that climate change is real, but I have a hard time believing it was the reason for hurricane Beryl's strength and timing. Please report real news
