Thanks for the video, very helpful!! Someone on the piloteers forum suggested heating the 3 bolts with a hairdryer. I did that and they came out relatively easily.

Just did the lock actuator on my Pilot. Had to heat up the 3 screws in the door jam with a small torch to break the locktite loose.

Is it safe to assume that this process will work for the rear drivers side door as well?

My passenger door handle rod used for the interior door handle pops out of the holder pin nearly every other day, its extremely frustrating i cannot find anything online in regards to this, this all began with a entire door lock actuator replacement and now that it has been put back together i’ve had this problem, it seems as though it may be a bad holder pin but when i look at it there seems to be no apparent damage and works as intended initially until it pops out again. One thing I’ve noticed is the rod does seem to be under more than usual amount of tension, im not sure what would be normal in regards to this but it does seem rather difficult to open the door and once you do, the handle doesn’t return to its primary position instead it hangs out like someone hasn’t let go of the handle, im at a loss and am about to just have someone else do it regardless of cost.

I am about to do this on my pilot and I am just wondering if i could just remove the 10mm bolt that holds the actuator without removing the wire roads.

Hey boss, upon reassembly - Any pointers for putting that window guide bar back in? Once it’s bolted on, it seems really arbitrary as to what angle it sits at….
