In this episode of Wandering Wagners we venture to Great Seal State Park in Chillicothe, OH where every site is non-electric: No Power, No Problem for us! This was the first time we have dry camped since we installed the ‪@VictronEnergyBV‬ Inverter and it was a great test. We also brought our trusty ‪@BLUETTIOfficial‬ PV200 Portable solar panels to supplement our ‪@RichSolarTalk‬ solar panels on the roof of our ‪@NeXusRV‬ 34W Super C RV.
We camped with our friends Dave and Andrea Fitch, ‪@FollowingtheFitchs‬ so they could test out their new solar/battery/inverter set up as well.
We had to battle the wind the entire time but overall it was a great time. Andrea and I went hiking and even did the parks Fitness trail with activities along the way. It was still chilly outside, but i regretted wearing a sweatshirt!
Luckily both of our solar setups and ‪@Redodopower‬ batteries performed flawlessly and we cannot wait to do more dry camping this summer. We had a bummer Winter where it has basically been mud season for 3 seasons so far. Even in the wind, we were happy to finally see the sun and hope it sticks around.
We also let the Fitchs borrow our ‪@IcecoCooler‬ for an unbiased review. They gave their thoughts on it and are going to replace their traditional cooler with a portable electric cooler as well! They loved the sturdy build, the removeable baskets, dual zone cooling and how quick it got to temperature.
