I played No Rest For the Wicked Early Access and here is my In Depth Review with PROS and CONS about the game.

I can definitely see potential even in the basic version of no rest for the wicked Early access but they have a lot of things that require patches and fixes ASAP.

So even if I can see potential in the game and really WANT to like it - there are a lot of issues with it. It also feels much more as a Souls like than Diablo / POE / LE. What do you guys think?

It's okay for early access but I don't play many early access games, this one was an exception for me. Hope it'll get better with time, they have solid basis to improve upon

@@LeCrapaud-sy1xu Well, can agree with that - basis feels alright to me but they will need to fix many irritating mechanics and update some to make them exciting.

The art style is fantastic, I really love watercolor textures in games. It has tons of potential

It is really beautiful and looks like the Devs did a great job with it. Gameplay and some mechanics feels more rough on the other hand.

Grabbed it today after watching you play it on stream. I definitely expected something different, closer to d4 or poe. Also having some weird performance issues, but considering it's ea I can live with that.

Performance been wacky for me as well. I hope they will patchfix it soon. About the vibe - it is more Dark Souls like game - I cant see a lot of POE similarities to be honest. Hope you will have fun with it too - if not now then maybe later.

Hope it will be better at the moment. At least performance is improving with patches.

the beginning learning curve can really throw someone off. I almost gave up on the game until I Learned more a bout stats and gear. The jumping puzzles can be BRUTAL , due to perspective, even when you do figure it out, jumping where you want to jump can prove challenging. it's a really good game, some aspects of it's difficulty need to be tuned, and there needs to be a much better tutorial and help with stats . The lose spiral of consumables and repair can also spiral down into a doom spiral that should never be in any game, even if you are not in the doom spiral just getting near it feels awful and stressful

Well, the whole run where pretty easy for me except the moment when I tried to get the boss while under leveled heavily. After getting to the proper lvl I finished him from the first go. Jumping feels OK on controller but on the keyboard it is ... not optimized haha. Can agree about doom spiral - it is a little better after patchnotes tho I also really don't like the Time locks - it feels like a mobile game with them which is strange. What have you liked the most tho?

@@ronarray I liked the graphics and combat, I like system of resource and gathering . I don't use controller , as a pc player always felt any game that required a controllers felt old and clunky.

Sounds nice, I liked the Graphics too - combat is better with the bosses, regular enemies are kind of dull. Potential is there for sure - lets hope they will build upon it.

@@ronarray I’m actually trying a caster build, know that you can start new realm to farm stuff early is helping alot

Interesting how it will play out. Feel free to leave another comment when you try that - at the early game cast abilities felt underwhelming to me.
