Fun fact about nascar. . . they (the cars) are legitimately built different both in aerodynamics AND in mechanical design to have more "give" to the left than the right. They are not equally balanced because they are DESIGNED to prioritize left movements.

Someone need to make a camera mod that forces you to use a disconnected camera that you can place anywhere. That way you can build maps that you have to view from the top down perspective. You can rebuild some of those old Nintendo race maps, or side view platforming maps.

NASCAR is best experienced in person, not on a tv. And when the intense noise is too overpowering the area just outside the stands is like a beer garden/carnival.

I will be a NASCAR defender until the day I die. No I don't watch it, but have you ever tried it in a racing game??? it's the hardest thing in the world! on any other track you can (depending on the game) cut a corner or knock someone off and potentially make up for a mistake, or just go in with a car that's optimized in a certain way for your style. in NASCAR, all the cars are the same, and they're all optimized the same way - it's the only time you have to do everything PERFECTLY, because for once, simply not crashing is not enough. I have immense respect for NASCAR drivers and it's one of the few types of racing I can't even imagine being capable of.

4:05 @Dapper buddy, I know I'm a bit late lol but there was also a race top fuel dragster you know those guys with like 13,000 horsepower that go a quarter mile in 3.6 seconds. The left rear of the dragster in the left lane came off and hopped the debris barrier and went into the crowd at 165mph(270ish kmh) and yeah it was a really messy ordeal and the event was cancelled. When I raced just an alcohol dragster that was my biggest fear because my front left wheel was improperly balanced and at 100mph my steering wheel would shudder violently left and right and I thought one day this wheel is gonna come off and I'll only have about a tenth of a second of my life fishing before my eyes before I meet my ancestors. Luckily never happened, sold that dragster for about 18,500 and sure enough the good luck I got out of it went with it and the new owners still love out and win with it regularly. Makes me so proud, like.. "hey I put that together almost all by myself and it actually freaking works good!"

My local Charlotte Speedway has 2 right turns but it is an oval track. Nascar had a big crash that racked every other driver

Looking up the more unique Nascar courses, I feel like the fact the drivers have to turn right is not the only reason more accidents happen. They also seem to lack dramatic banks as well, if any at all. So even ignoring how the cars are design to turn left easier, even left turns are more difficult on those courses.

KAN, you should get out to watch some Dirt Track racing. I just went to watch the World Of Outlaws last night. They're Sprint cars, the ones with the massive aero wings and the 2 different sized drive tires. Idk if Canada has a competition like that. If not, it would be worth a vacation down here to catch a race. Idk what part of Canada you live in, but in pretty much every border state, there is racing. Those guys do about 100-110mph on dirt.

you should do a cheese competition so you send a bland track to opponent they sent you a bland track and for every cheese that gains them time they find in the track they gain a point. and they they try to add cheeses and for every cheese that isn't found in a public lobby they gain a point to the track create most points wins. what do you think?
