When this song reached the crescendo during the Phoenix Gate dragoon boss fight, I actually started to get goosebumps and slight tears in my eyes. Really powerful.

That was the moment it felt like a Final Fantasy to me, so good. From the Dragoon fight to the Demo's end, mouth open in awe the entire time.

The real magic to it is the build up that takes place at 1:21. That right there is the Triumph feeling of a Shield's duty who was sworn to protect his home

The entire FFXVI soundtrack is amazing but this one is my favorite it's almost as if instead of the boss having a theme it's your boss theme for the boss its so epic/heroic sounding. I swear I play 100x better when this is playing during a fight.

@blastchaos4286 I 100%'d the game and have the platinum. I just think the song would have been way more appropriate used more as a main boss theme than a "like 4 main bosses and all the hunts" theme.

Even though it’s not official, I always feel like this is Clive’s theme. It captures his determination, his bravery, his strength, his struggle against fate. Especially at the 1:42 mark, the music seems to say, not “Clive, be afraid of this boss”, but “Boss, be afraid of Clive!” And the more hunts I do in this game, the more it feels that way. The song is just too good.

You could definitely make the case that this is young Clive’s theme, it plays twice during pivotal fights, one where he’s to prove himself on his first mission, where he even gets Wade to make a story out of his bravery, and then against the dragoon, where he needs to win to buy time for his father and brother. Now I think Find the Flame is an Excellent theme for Clive, especially with the ammount of versions they have of it, but this playing during all the hunts, it seems like it’s Clive once again being that brave boy, taking on a challenge, facing the odds, and WINNING

@@MuhammadYusuf-yw8un If I'm not mistaken Soken briefly mentioned that the sound team implemented a system where as the player starts making the final push in the fight and is really doing well the music adapts to play the most triumphant or energetic parts to set the mood. So I guess kinda scripted?

The start of this song seemed like it would wear on me, but I'm approaching the endgame doing all the hunts ASAP, and I'm still loving it, especially when it comes up in the story battles.

Reminds me of the FF12 Miniboss and Boss themes - I have listened to both on repeat for at least 1000 hours each AT LEAST. LOVE this whole soundtrack as much as the other soundtracks Uematsu and Soken have done so flawlessly.

Best part about it is that the game usually synchronizes that bit right as you initiate the stagger phase so right when you are about to unload all your abilities on the boss 🙌so hype

It's simply called "Battle with the Four Fiends". A fantastic track. Though, I believe it was originally titled "The Dreadful Fight".

I had to fight all the hunt board monsters with my TV at 100 volume just because of this theme. Fighting those guys in FF mode, playing on my feet, music blasting... it's been a while since a game made me feel that energy. Pros of living alone lol

It's actually so devastating that it only lasts two minutes and they didn't bother finding a way to make it loop naturally so it just restarts from beat 1 mid fight and ruins all steam it had going
