That grand mom duty is one that I really enjoy I'm a great grandmother now I enjoy that even more that my grandchildren are older hope you have fun and tell your daughter we all said happy birthday

Great project! Especially because I'm a bit afraid of my sewing machine (I know there must be others out there!) 😆 My mother made some of our clothes when we were very young and can't understand why I would choose to hem and repair by hand instead of the machine. 🤣 You were in rare form this video - I laughed and laughed! Ha ha we used to call it tracing paper toilet roll! It was very uncomfortable. That wouldn't be allowed now. Love the ruffles. ❤❤

Omg Amanda I remember that awful toilet paper 😂😂 it was called IZAL and guess what, you can still buy the awful stuff, mind you it was great tracing paper 🤣🤣 loved the video especially it being no sew, my sewing is still crooked. Have a great weekend and a happy birthday to your daughter. X👍❤❤

I love making paper ruffles with scraps make great page edges . I remember that nasty school loo paper lol 😂 I used to take my own haha or a pack of paper tissues x

Oh I deffo put them in the words pouch when I tidied my desk and the oddments back in their box … I don’t clean as I go it disturbs my flow but deffo after I put everything in it’s right place … don’t worry ha ha ha xx

It was called something like izsel or something similar, when I was teaching in the 70's and 80's we used to have to buy it out of our classroom budget 🙂 Dee
