I have NEVER listened to TXT before their new song. And damnnnnn!!!! I'm effing impressed! Thursday's child is sooooooo good omg!!! I honestly don't know what my fav is... they are all so amazing and so different from each other!

Yeonjun actually wrote and composed all his rap parts in this album including writing the lyrics to trust fund baby (along with taehyun), title track good boy gone bad and lonely boy. He's a real rapper and not a phoney. I'm glad you appreciate his vocals in opening sequence. That's my favorite song. I also love taehyun's vocals in that song too.

Same here. I also think that Rapper Yeonjun needs so much appreciation, also Vocalist Yeonjun. Most of the k-pop fans thinks that man only is a good dancer. But he is the 4th Gen IT boy. There's nothing that he's not good at. Also Yeonjun wrote all of his rap parts ( Good boy gone bad & Lonely Boy) in this album. Also wrote Trust Fund baby with Taehyun. So proud of him.

Thursday's child has far to go is a line from a british nursery rhyme, but I agree with your interpretation that you have the weekend to recover from something bad as far as this song goes. The song was also produced by Beomgyu. Also, I want to add that when people say TXT has a no-skip discography, they are not messing around.

Personally think this is their most cohesive album yet, and it's dethroned The Dream Chapter: Eternity as my favorite. It's one of their "chiller" albums but honestly TXT are so versatile when it comes to genres and concepts. Their discography is definitely one of my favorites in Kpop ever. Hi It’s good for you to share information about grief. People usually think of grief accompanying the death of a person, but as yyou obviously know, it can be with any loss. When you talk about the order, you might have learned the stages in a specific order. For people going through it, the stages can hit in any order, then repeat. I tend to avoid feeling anger, for example, so I probably go through acceptance too soon and need to repeat or prolong some stages until I feel angry. Glad you really get the themes.

So what I do when albums drop from my favs, I literally wait ALL DAY to listen (excluding watching the MV). It's literally bedtime, I'm in bed, lights are off, I'm comfy, it's like 1am, and I put in my earbuds and do nothing but LISTEN. TXT are one of the groups I do that with, and every time they floor me (and one memorable time, where one of their songs jumpscared the absolute shit out of me). I remember having the urge to cry when Thursday's Child Has Far To Go played. I didn't understand the lyrics of any of the songs, but I FELT them, and I could feel just negative emotions throughout the whole album, but Thursday's Child just felt like pure relief, like, omg yes this album is FANTASTIC. I would also HIGHLY recommend listening to all their albums! All of their songs are so good, only literally a few I personally just don't vibe with, but as you said it's because of subjection, lol. I think you should go in order from oldest to newest, because you can just hear the finding their sound, and they started off amazing, and just keep getting better and better! Like, it's unreal, I know you would have the BEST time going on a TXT journey ^^

no joke i made my dad who really doesn’t like or listen to kpop but who is also taking me to txts concert in july listen to this whole album and i was surprised to hear that his favorite song was opening sequence and i asked him why and he immediately said that he could feel their emotions in it without even being able to understand them and it just made me really happy that my dad yk 1. likes one of their songs and 2. can actually feel what i feel through the song.

this was so much fun to watch, and i really love your interpretation and appreciation of the concept! idk about everyone else but i would absolutely love to see your reaction to txt's full discography. they're quite literally known for having 0 skippable songs because every track is crafted with the same attention and care as the tt and each album is uniquely different. i really really recommend going through their music. all of my favorite txt songs are b-sides if that's any indication lol

you were right!! it is the stages of grief!! this goes back to their last album and the concept photos ! and as you saw they referenced back to many lyrics from their old songs like loser=lover, 0X1=love song, and cat and dog! in the concept photos for the last album all members were holding specific items that they brought for their date but they ended up getting stood up and broken up with, which is how we got this album!! literally the best album of 2022, and once i heard beomgyu produced thursday’s child has far to go i knew it was going to be a hit. and i would love to see you react to their other albums it would be so fun to watch you go through all the different genres since they’ve done 37 different genres!!
