This mix is my favorite song in the whole game because all 3 version really compliment each other and take turns. While Edm usually overtake the melody sometimes it jumps to the background with no melody but that's the same exact moment rocks takes the melody. The base and what pianos do in general is to make sure the base and melody is maintained at all time. What a perfect mix where all 3 version has a role and take different leads at different times

memetea:3 Most likely because the style and design of classical music developed over and is hundreds of years old, while music like EDM, rock, funk, K-Pop, etc are much more recent and modern. It’s the only song in the game that’s incorporated music written centuries ago into its EDM and rock.

We don’t know too much about yinu. But I guess through the way that she plays and the way her mom acts in this fight you could piece together her story. Yinu probably started out as a prodigy with a talent for the piano and music theory, hence her take on canon in D. She’s playing throughout the whole song. Not some record or electronic scratch like the previous fights. This was probably harked on by her mom who probably forced her daughter to hone in on her musical ability with little time for other things like being a kid. She’s 9 and is playing like this against two revolutionary rockstars. She’s playing hard and through it all despite her struggles. Shits deep and this is personal.

INCOOM13 Not only that, but some of the hidden lore is that her now-dead dad gave her that golden piano. There’s some extra emotion in that scene where her mom starts to play with her at the end, as well as some context as to why her mom is so aggressive about the whole thing.

Marcus Outplays This is three versions put together. So yes, the original is in there but when playing the game it won't be this remix playing. This is a mixed version.
