For me the biggest thing is you can clearly see the players are playing for him and are learning from their mistakes. Even Jackson and Madueke have matured massively in a short space of time since the Everton game. They are responding and he needs time to figure it out. He has been unlucky with injuries. There is progress and dare I say it when I was at the Bridge on Sunday it felt like it was starting to become somewhat a ‘fortress’ again, our home form this half of the season has been incredible.

It took poch 34 league games to set a team up properly..wouldn't take alot to be better than poch..

I wanted P gone and I've said so but there are clear signs of improvement throughout the team, results are better and if he has turned the corner, he deserves to start next season. Forest will be a massive test, they're fighting for survival but there's more confidence in this side since we last played them.

I'd prefer someone who has know how in Europe and Pochitino looks like he's just getting hold of thing's at Chelsea, the players like him and I'm sure next season will be better under him. Extenuating circumstances have been very difficult for him. We are going down a different road now plus we've been spoilt under Abramovich era but Pochitino to carry on for me. 💙✌️

2 things: 1. Don’t care for your title of the video. I actually think that is wildly inaccurate after Chelsea’s last 3 months. Amorim has clearly gone into meetings with multiple clubs and overpriced his experience. To rub Liverpool, West Ham and Chelsea the wrong way shows this. Some of the rumored salary demands are wild. All the other managers on that list would love to come to Chelsea - they just aren’t the correct profile. Alonso is going to Real Madrid in 2025, that is already done. The problem is, who does that leave out there that are clear and obvious choices? Not much tbh. 2. I agree with your sentiment regarding Pochetino. With our injuries and the avg age of the remaining players Poch had to utilize, he’s done a good job this season. Has he made some errors? Obviously. But, go look at the first seasons of other great mgr’s, there is most always a year where the mgr has to learn what he has and what is needed. Lastly, what is ABSOLUTELY MADDENING is the owners and directors have been taking heat all season or at least the majority of the season regarding the Pochetino hire and the “project”. So now, WHEN WE ARE JUST STARTING TO SEE SOMETHING CLICK, they decide to brief Ornstein that it’s Europa League or bust for Pochetino. Bro, be the adults in the room. You took 2 months to interview the guy and he is actually starting to get a tune out of these kids and we want to throw it out now? I haven’t been freaking out like the majority of Chelsea fans, because as a fan from the States, I am used to rebuilds. My local NFL team has gone through a couple of them. But, now I’m actually a little concerned about the decision makers upstairs if they are truly thinking about sacking Poch at the moment. I think Chelsea made an agreement in principle for Ruben to come next year maybe they want Poch to continue preparing these young guys until a winner mentality is instilled,....why only after coming back from London he refutes the rumors...that to me smells a rat

I've been persistent on not wanting Pochettino to stay, but half of that's because TT is available. If it's not him then we might as well stick with the Spurs lemon merchant; our hands are tied. Why Tuchel you say? Few reasons: TT had us in top 4 twice + multiple cup finals. And that was quite recently. So I feel he'd be a better gauge for the new players. If we're still near mid table even with him, then it's more assurance the squad isn't good enough for what we require, so we can restructure with new directors. If we keep Pochettino and next season we still remain near midtable, then it's nothing but a belated sack. Since it is a project which requires time, dips will come again. In such times TT will get lot more patience from fans than Pochettino just because of the past connection/respect. We will need that, specially next season when it's time to deliver better. Tuchel's struggle most of his career has been handling upper management. But in Bayern he hasn't truly had that issue, if anything some fans are petitioning to keep him because their upper management have been poor. Similarly, he never had an issue under Roman with Marina or Cech. Under our new regime, the breakdown in communication came because there was no sporting director installed, Cech had left. He had to directly deal with new and naive Boehly. It was understandable frustration. That was more an upper management fault. Since then we've appointed enough directors, so he shouldn't be having that issue now. Remember, every manager is good in an optimistic view. We need to hedge/prepare for if/when things go wrong. Tuchel might be not available by then, and we'll truly regret it if he actually becomes a great long term manager elsewhere. This is our chance to try it. There is not even a compensation, he comes free. Downsides are lesser than Pochettino in my opinion.
