I just looked this book up. It was first published in 2018 (30 years after Louis died). So Beau L'Amour finished this book. I doubt Louis L'Amour wrote much of it. It's his kids cashing in on the Louis L'Amour name. So it looks like "The Lost Treasures" are books Louis L'Amour didn't publish because he didn't think they were good or they were unfinished manuscripts. It's kind of like all these Tolkien books that are coming out now since Christopher Tolkien died. He actually cared about his father's legacy. Whoever is running the estate now just cares about the money. So there is a glut of new unreleased JRR Tolkien stuff being published when Tolkien has been dead for half a century.

So I won't listen to this too hard because it says spoilers. Lol What is your thought on going to EBay an buying a LOT of LL books? I'm thinking of jump starting my collection by buying 50 to 70 in one shot. I just don't see me building this collection 1 book at a time. I just don't visit book stores and you hardly find these in Little Free Libraries... I just kind of feel buying a LOT is cheating. 😂

@@OuterWorldMedia Just need to pull the trigger... Only thing holding me back is that I went from about 10 books in my library to about 50 and I'm really getting thru many of those LOL IDK I will think about it some but man do I want to do this. 🤣

@@HideAndRead Ima do it but I need to find the right deal. :) I see some LOTS as big as 104 that would get me up-to-date. LOL I think it worked out to about 1.50 a book but some of them looked rough

I’ve come across that issue of the condition of some of his books. The last library sale I went to I put back 5 or 6 of his books I didn’t have because the condition of the book was terrible (While I enjoy a well read book I think it adds to the charm on the old western books) I’d recommend going into the preferences on eBay and selecting what condition you want the books to be. I’ve found that to be a big life saver especially if you’re gonna spend over $100 on books.
