Was the guard repmimanded for telling those tourons to stand clear of the arches? I for one hope he wasn't because they had NO RIGHT to be there.

I think the guard did get talked to about shouting at the man that went into the arches, by the look on the guards face during the "talk". Unfortunately. The guard did nothing wrong but I have a feeling the man was a "somebody" and was to be treated as such. If that really was the case, the guard should have been told this man was coming to visit. If no one knew of his visit, how was the guard supposed to know who this guy was. Obviously he went and complained. If he is so important, he should have told the bosses of his impending visit, so everyone would know. Also the guard should have never been talked to in public, which further has me believing he was a "someone". The man that went into the arches had such a look of disdain toward the guard who was just trying to do his job. Like, I'm going to get you, you wait. That's how it looked to me.

Oui ,il n’a même pas le droit de parler !!! ,enfin de converser ! Depuis le décret de la reine victoria en 1894 En guise de punition , lors d’un bavardage pendant la garde ! Punition toujours présente . C’est très très rigoureux , c’est pourquoi ,ça me fait peiner quand je vois des prétentieux se moquer d’eux !!! Monique 🇫🇷.
