I could see God having her do this to show those who wouldn’t ever be exposed to him who He is. God is not afraid to get low and go where most Christians wont. That could have been some peoples only example of Christ. You have no idea how many could have been saved just from her being there. Sometimes God sends us places and the “job” is just the vehicle to reach the souls that are there.

@@siobhansyt Exactly. I was saved after watching her on the show and she was one of the biggest influencers on beginning my path to finding God and my faith. I was baptized spring of 2021 and her spirit on this secular show reached so many that otherwise did not grow up in a Christian household / community.

Honestly I find it kind of confusing too. In her testimony tho she says her friends submitted an application for her. When she told her mom her mom told her to pray about it. Her and her family both spend lots of time praying on it and she said she felt God calling her to be on the show. She said she didn’t understand and that it honestly made no sense to her bc she thought she was meant to be with a Christian man but she followed what she felt God was calling her to do anyway. Which as Christians is what we’re meant to do. However confusing we follow God. In a way I feel that her being on that show could have touched many people and sparked curiosity in her faith for many people. I think for many viewers of such a worldly show she may have been the only bridge for people to hear about God. I think God may have been calling her to evangelize through national television and honestly I feel that she did.

my suggestion is to not view marriage as the end goal for your life. it will not be the thing that will bring you ultimate happiness. GOD is the one who brings ultimate happiness to all of us. i have been single for like 6+ years i think(been so long i forgot lol) and looking back in my life, I'm glad i did not force my will and just go and find a gf on my own because i know that I'm still not ready for that kind of relationship. if i forced it on my own, i might have sinned a lot and lost myself in sin. i thank GOD that i am single. if GOD has a wife for me, i will wait for GOD to bring us together, if not then i am happy serving the LORD as a single young man and into the future as a single old man. i leave it all to GOD'S perfect plan. let's just serve GOD and spread the good news to people about JESUS.

also, if you have professed JESUS as your LORD and savior and are born again, you've already found someone who loves you and is deserving of your full love, and that someone is GOD. GOD'S love dwarfs any human relationship we can have on earth. remember, man can fail us, GOD can NEVER EVER fail us.

@@achtung1134 I do give credence to some of what you're saying I do but we are here to love. We are social creatures indeed and need companionship. I know we can debate on this or that and probably even give examples of ppl who died "fine" being single but that's all speaking in theory. We would never know if that person would have turned out better or worse. Having said that, I have been studying Gods word and made it a mission to study the entire book and this verse continues to pop up in my head: Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of (A)prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, (B)so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And (C)though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body [a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Cor 13 1-3 Paul's right, if you have not loved it all means nothing.

@@jesusisgod7528 paul is not talking about romantic love (eros) there. the love that is referred in those verses is agape love or unconditional love that serves other people. i suggest that when reading the bible, if it becomes hard to understand , find the true meaning of verses in the original greek and hebrew language. the internet can help translate the greek or Hebrew in the bible to English

@@jesusisgod7528 romantic(eros) love can fade. that is why in the bible GOD calls us to have agape love for all people. in the bible and in human history, agape love is the highest and most loving form of love that GOD himself demonstrates the best. John 3:16 uses agape love and so does 1 corinthians 13
