I love that your showing Esmeraldas, a place that most outside of Ecuador are completely unaware of. It has the largest Afro-Ecuadorian community in the country.

Esmeraldas. My favorite Province, beautiful people and absolutely with the best seafood around. Should try an "Encocado". Just awesome.

I really like the colors of everything--the restaurant furniture, the various buildings and so on. And the women look really friendly.

Uffff Esmeraldas es una belleza , estuve varias veces allí en la niñez y aún recuerdo la comida y la calidez de la gente . Una lastima que ahora haya aumentado la delincuencia pero sigue siendo unos de mis destinos favoritos del país.

Nice video. I been there. Ecuador coast has a lot of great beach towns. How did you get from Guayaquil all the way to the north coast? Esmeraldas is also a city, not just a province.

Thanks and there weren't any flights from Guayaquil to Esmeraldas, so I took a 9-hour bus ride🤷🏿♂️

@@slyslife could’ve taken a short bus ride to Salinas and work your way up the coast, well now you could go south. 3 nice towns just south of you - Same, Sua and Muisne.

@@WandererNirvana Due to the size of the country I could do tons of trips, but I prefer to travel during the weekends and chill in the city during the weekdays. I hate being on the road for too long lol.
