Autumn Strong from the Singer 2017. His first song in Mandarin and it is just beautiful. I found Dimash in 2017. I still listen to him every single day. The problem with Dimash is he will ruin other music for you. You will find no one else can come close. They may be good, even near great but still not Dimash. There is a serious of videos, 12 I believe called Guide to Dimash and it is various topics about Dimash, interviews etc. You should do those because you will see why he is so dearly loved as a person in addition to his music. It is the person that he is and strives to be that is so unique and endearing.

He'd been alone in China for weeks with only an interpreter and a coach, used to living with his entire immediate family, his calls home became increasingly despondent and his father decided to go over, check things out and surprise him. The Opera 2 episode, everyone in on it, he sat in the audience, the camera kept cutting to him, Dimash never noticed him. Standing there at conclusion he saw him, his reaction priceless ! as seen on the longer video. His Dad never went home.

The next year, in Singer 2018, Dimash was invited back for a solo at the Final Gala. He sang a cover of Lionel Richie’s Hello. Love your emotional reactions that you genuinely seem excited to watch. I'm a Dear from 🇺🇸 and have enjoyed Dimash for four years now. It is wonderful to watch others discover one of music's greatest seemingly hidden treasures. I also think we all have our own favorite version of Dimash's songs...such as I like the Slavic bazaar "SOS" version the best but they are all great. Personally I think you should react to whichever version you want in whatever order you want. A lot of Dears want to push reactors to go in a certain order. But believe me for your musical pleasure you go with the ones that appeal to you. Up to you though as I don't want to push! As usual, a wonderful reaction. As you probably already know, Diva Dance is originally a song from the classic 1997 sci-fi thriller “The Fifth Element” starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. For the scene, the song’s composer, Eric Serra, designed the piece with the intent that it would be impossible for a human to perform the high-pitch staccato sections. He had Inva Mula-Tchako, an Albanian opera lyric soprano, sing the notes individually so that they could then be arranged digitally and recorded. In the movie, this song is “performed” by an alien, Diva Plavalaguna, played by Maïwenn Le Besco. Dimash's performance of the "Diva Dance" from his Bastau concert is even more impressive. I wish Dimash would perform that vocal masterpiece once on stage. He performs it frequently before his concerts as part of his warm-up routine.
