"I should have known what I had, but I was at war with my mind" hits me hard. Being given that "heaven" like feeling just with a look and being incapable of understand/accepting it fully.... what can one expect next other then to be let go of despite the love. Beautiful song

The second part of verse 2. "You said you'd love me forever. Is that what you meant when you washed me away like it was for the best." Those are powerful lyrics. People are quick to promise forever when it feels good, but the moment it gets a little bumpy and there is no more instant gratification, they dip 🤷‍♀️ it is what it is. They lose. There is no substance to such surface deep individuals

Back in February, I broke up with fiance because I found out he had been cheating on me throughout our relationship. I have felt betrayal before, but not like that.
