@@miles.1317 I don't think he's intentionally botching people's surgeries. Bigger bodies are more prone to dog ears in general. He just won't correct it when it happens because it's "their fault"

But my parents are uncomfortable with me. My mum doesn't mind me having t. But she feels uncomfortable and my dad just makes me feel less of myself. I feel so drained and feel like absolute shite. @@ezymoney2001 I saw a program once about a mtf girl who had a very religious brother. The brother used the same religious arguments. They had a conversation with a religious doctor that does transitioningprocedures and one thing the doctor said stuck with me. "The bible says God created people female or male. It never states if that's of body or of mind." What he meant by that is that God created souls not bodies, so a female soul (in a male body) is still female not male. It did seem like the brother in the episode changed his opinion slightly or was at least open to change after hearing that. I hope your parents will become more open to the idea as well! Edit: I know this is a total stab in the back for nonbinary people. I just hoped it could help convincing religious anti-trans people that being trans is totally valid

Remember to keep your scars covered from the sun, so they don't go dark. They'll be small silver lines once all healed. I had mine done in 1993.

It feels so weird when your nerves are cut. I had 2 spinal fusions and a pretty big area of my back is numb on the surface but I can feel it underneath the skin. Not all of my nerves were able to heal, I guess because it was such a large incision. It took me a long time to get used to it and for a while it was both uncomfortable and hurt although it was numb. It's a really weird/uncomfortable feeling.

I'm so glad to learn more about trans, not only because I want to because knowledge leads to empathy and respect for others, but because I've always never felt like the cis female I am, but not a total male, either. So glad to know that there's a name for myself, rather than just odd, and there's others like me. I first realized this at about 6yrs old, in the 50s, so just stuck in my head with it all my life (lovely parents who didn't try to force gender me, tg).

dude I cried when I saw you going through top surgery with your mom like five months ago I had the realization I couldn't have a mastectomy alone thank you for being a young man with a sweet momma in the public eye I needed to see it to know it was possible. I know you've got the best scars in history but it's great to see someone with a best case scenario before it even begins
