This interview is the exact reason why junior is one of the best race car drivers and most popular driver in the sport even after he retired also the fact that he races his competitors he doesn't wreck them to gain spots a extremely humble man, husband and father

This interview made Junior seem more like one of us mere fans rather then "Dale Earnhardt Jr." if that makes any sense. I mean you can clearly see his passion and excitement for racing and the track. Its like he could just wander up, pull up a stool and crack a cold beer with anyone of us and talk cars and racing. Best interview I've seen in a long while!

I met him in his final year in Cup and he was nice as hell, humble, and funny on top of it. I went to his podcast, and at one point William Byron walked past the glass and everyone looked. Dale was like "What the hell are y'all looking at?!" Everyone there was like "Byron." He said "tell him to get his ass out of here this is my podcast." Obviously he was joking and Byron was in the garage, but they way he said it was hilarious.

This event was by far the BEST race I've attended from top to bottom. From the friendly folks lining up the parking, the help with the golf cart helping out my handicapped buddy, the awesome gate attendants, the sold out stands with great(old/past, current and newer) enthusiastic racing fans from all over, and the fantastic concession workers, track and local privateers, you about can't describe it. Obviously we know what(who) brought all of us together, and HE is so selfless in all his efforts. From the time I arrived, it felt like a Cup race from back in the day. We probably won't ever have another experience to equal this, and it was so cool to be a part of it. It was well worth my 3hr drive, and now I'm watching and reading all that I can about it, still jacked up! from the great night. Dale Jr's contributions to this event is about indescribable. And all the locals working the event, you could tell they loved every minute of having a BIG show back at the speedway. I sure hope Marcus Smith answers our call.

This interview completely illustrates the character of Dale Jr. The down to earth humility, passion for the history of racing, and just overall being a really cool guy. He sometimes gets flak for being the son of Dale Earnhardt, but those who know his history are well aware that aside from his name, he had to earn everything he accomplished. A name only gets you so far. Dale Jr has made his own legacy because of his amazing character. Im so happy to see North Wilkesboro back in any configuration and purpose, and go Junior for playing such a big role in that, even though he will never take the credit.

just got back from the race!!! , got a speeding ticket trying to get home in time to go to work...:( I am completely overjoyed for the response from the fans of short track late model stock car racing it was a night to remember was glad to have run out of parts at 10am wed while at work at the dealership and decided the moment was right, I jumped work and attended one of the most satisfying things I could have ever done with a day !!.. I was raised with short track racing at Langley Speedway in Hampton Virginia its where legends are born - and where I learned just whom my heroes really were. when I was a child my supermen like: Everette Sawyer and later his sons Elton & Roger and Ricky Rudd all of Chesapeake Va. , the Joker Bubba Adams, My Batman was Charlie Doyle , Bob Shreeves, Eddie and Joe Falk, Bruce & Phil Warren, Billy Smith & Bill Champion Of Hampton Va., Billy Adkins, Danny * Greg Edwards all of Poquoson Va. Mike Buffkin, Joe & Sam Gaita, Wayne Handbury don't let me leave out of course 20 time top fuel motorcycle champ Larry The Spiderman Mcbride for good measure his heroes of Elmer Trent and Jim McClure, the venerable nine-time national riding champion from Williamsburg, Va this racetrack should not be repaved... it should stay as it is legendary nostalgic throwback put some sealer or something on it and put up some building and lights for the parking cuz were coming back -- whenever we get to do this again!!! the short track nationals were made for this track / like the darlington throwback is for the cup series let us embrace what we have not destroy and cancel this significants.. Dale you put out the word and the parking i blame on you.. lol other than that was as expected and night to remember ,., I happen to have come sit beside me Junior Johnsons Bookkeeper during the bonnet waltrip bud days... what stories he told... thanks for letting me be a fan again... this is what i find spiritual -just like fatback said the other week on the download.. it is my religion my life its who i am... and like dale jr staed on that same podcast its hard to go to the track without something to do and job or role... we all have unfinished business like fatback said i dont wanna die.. im only 55 im a young man.. indeed you are fatback, and ill be giving him a call and offering my services as a crewman for his new team dale jr is helping fatback start up a lmsc or super late model team/? mayfield can drive it.lol..!!! ""great inner view Noah"" thanks for posting!!!!

WOW!!👍🙏🙌🙏🤗💞 This is what's missing from a lot of racing "PURE HEARTFELT RAW EMOTION " racing for FUN and FANS!!!! Dale single handedly had an idea and due to many people loving his idea jumped in and "Look What Was Accomplished!!" It's a BLESSING and a MIRACLE 💞🤗🙏 A track I certainly have always loved has been resurrected and restored. I can't wait for them to race dirt!!! It's going to be AMAZINGLY EPIC!!! This is a dream come 👍 🤗💞 GOD BLESS YOU DALE FOR THIS AWESOME OUTCOME FROM AN IDEA!!!! PRICELESS TREASURED BLESSING 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏 🏁🏆🏁 IT gives me hope that perhaps racing will return to some of It's former glory 🤗💞🤗🏁🏆🏁🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

He is such a good dude. I was a fan but not a super fan. I was a smoke guy. If junior and smoke lined up side by side today, I would root for Junior more. I am so thankful we still have a chance to hear from this guy, racing needs it.
