We harvest bananas from our backyard in the Philippines when the color starts to turn yellow. Very sweet! No wonder why bananas from the store here in America are BLAND!

Thus is amazing. Never realised how labor intensive the banana industry is. Why are the bananas wrapped in the blue plastic? I will never again complain about the prices of bananas. I hope that the workers earn decent wage.

Great video to watch! In India, we worship banana tree so as to respect it. It not only gives us banana but the leaves are still used as plates for serving food. It's a kind of traditional thing.

@@surajsen4655: No you can't eat the leaves but you can eat the Banana Flower and the core of the Banana tree. The leaves makes great wrapping for cooking fish and desserts. It imparts flavor and aroma you can only get from Banana leaves.

Wow I always see how banana are harvested but its by hand. They cut it from the tree and carries it all the way to the trucks and sell it to the market. This is my first time seeing kind of this process

Wonderful flying fox system. I remember with fond memories of my family's banana growing. Growing on steep hillsides, some neighbors systems pulled up hill whilst ours were gravity down hill and across gullies. At times larger bunches were lost as they hit the bottom anchor post for the rope to slow the bunch just couldn't.

These are chrmically induced. Nothing like a natural grown banana.. Whether it's Delmonte or Dole or any other commercially industrialised farming. Good health comes from naturally grown fruits and veges

You know it's when a great farmers when they have a good environmental. I really appreciate Noal Farm effort on taking the last scene where there a small stream with a lot of fish in it. At my area, there's a large Palm oil plantation that ruin my village river. It's smell disgusting especially when rainy day 😢
