I was stunned when I heard this. Chomskys been a public figure for 60 years without even a hint of any kind of scandal like this, he’s the last person I would expect to ever be hanging out with someone like Epstein. But then again a lot of people in the black book were pretty surprising.

It came from Epstein, went to Chomsky. It followed a transaction that Epstein received. The explanation given isn't sufficient in terms of the financial mechanisms that were alluded to. But it doesn't contradict anything, nor does it seems particularly unlikely given that Epstein and Chomsky seem to have had no real working relationship beyond this one transaction. Does this implicate Chomsky in Epstein's other dealings? No. We also know that at the time, Epstein was a known sex offender. Does this implicate Chomsky morally? Possibly. More evidence may come to light. Does this mean we should tell the world he was involved in shady dealings and that we should go on a wildly speculative rant about how disgusting everyone involved was? I mean, we could... At the water cooler, between discussing office politics and how that one man who slept with Katy a few weeks ago has now apparently dumped her officially.
