You may also want to make yourself aware of the fact that a great many western companies take advantage of cheap labour in China therefore China inherits the pollution that would otherwise be domestically located. Deforestation is a big problem too which puts Brazil next on the list but last time I checked MacDonalds is an American company and soy bean production in Brazil goes hand in hand with feeding those cattle on the cheap which causes further deforestation. We can trace all that back to the USA. I therefore suggest that the USA is responsible for a lot more pollution and environmental problems than they lay claim to. When the rainforests are tampered with on such an industrial scale this in turn is a major cause of the extinction of species at the rate Chomsky mentions (David Attenborough will tell you the same thing and that guy knows what the hell he's talking about). You look at the surface but fail to see beneath it even at a fundamental level. Climate change is an issue predominantly forged by the 1st world. What Chomsky has to say is pretty much bang on the money here. To refute it is ignorance.

The cool thing is, everyone is getting more educated. The more educated you get... the more you cannot deny the science. Also if you're a "Karen" and you only care about yourself, and you don't care about the people around you, or the people who will live in the future, then there's literally nothing to worry about. I've come from the same place as you, but I've come full circle... the climate crisis IS bad... but humans will make it past this. The climate is like turning on a hot stove. Changes don't happen right away, but take place over a long period of time. So the stuff we do now, will make effects 100 or 1000 years in to the future. Humans will be dealing with this issue for a long time... AND we are going to lose and even large amount of species on this earth. People who live near the coast, some will get in to deep trouble and have to move inwards. Crop patterns will change and farmers will have to update with it... Migration patters in animals will change as well, and this is going to cause much more species to become extinct. These are the things we cannot change. Even if we turn off the oven today, it still gets warmer, no matter what we do. But we have to start doing something now. There is no doubt. Also with the Nuclear I think that humans will over come this as well. I think that as each countries joins the global community, they have to work with everyone... in order to make money. This isn't just a country economy, but a global one and as we do, I see a natural reduction in nuclear proliferation, it's just going to take a long time and hopefully no one does something stupid. But my point is... now that you realize the true nature of what is really going on... don't worry, we will make it past this. It's going to be tough but we will! Happy new year 2023!

And then he owns over 400 corporations that would benefit from this. Imagine how much money he made right there for himself. He ran his business while in office... he was the first president since the corruptions of Nixon to refuse to release his taxes, so there was literally no transparency in his administration. He then raised the rates of his memberships to his largest golf courses and country clubs to $200,000 per membership. And because he refused to release his taxes, no one will literally ever know if foreign countries were ordering memberships in order to influence him. He golfed at his own golf courses... and the American Tax payer had to pay for this. This money went directly into his own companies during a pandemic. So the more he golfed, the more he made money, because the secret service had to follow him... and where did they stay? At Trump hotels of course... and Trump was even caught raising the rates of his rooms, from $300 per night, to $600 per night (just under the legal limit) and then eventually to $1000 per night. It's all hidden now and not being reported by the government. As he was saying "No new wars", he made 5 times more drone strikes than Obama and now they have stopped reporting it. It's up to outside sources like Drone Strike Report, to inform the public, but there is no oversight to these things anymore. He put Betsy Devos in as secretary of education. Who was protested about, the first day she hit office. Devos is related to Eric Prince, the private military company that ran "Blackwater" the secret private military company that got big time contracts in Iraq, for the Iraq war. Blackwater had to change it's name because of the disaster the Nissor Square massacre" where they killed a bunch of Iraqis. They are literally billionaires in charge of education. So what did Devos do? She started funneling money from public schools and started putting them in to private schools. The effects of this alone is just trying to "dumb down the population". They don't want poor people to get any smarter. Trump hired a coal lobbyist and put him at the head of the EPA (environmental protection agency) Scott Pruit got in to trouble very quickly after he was appointed, and was eventually fired in controversy. But not before they made drastic changes... The eliminated a big chunk of the EPA's budget. The EPA is the agency that protects poor and middle class people, from large corporations. So they sought to dismantle the EPA. After Trump if you've noticed, many warnings on electrical devices that can harm you, have been taken off. Then Trump set out to dismantle the CDC, right in the beginning of the pandemic. He reduced the CDC by 20%... at the beginning of the largest pandemic in 100 years... lol So ... just in summary... Trump has done so much damage and so many good things for republicans, even though he wasn't really a republican. He's also set this wave in to motion, that is moving also over Canada. This Trump turd rally wave... which was responsible for the Canadian Trucker Convoy, and is still going on today. I can't think of anyone in history that has helped Republicans more than Trump...

We are people who are sceptical of hierarchy, like the state and the workplace, where the government and the bosses have unjust power. All this means is that we don't want a government and that workers should all equally and democratically own their work. I am really not sure how you came up with the idea that under socialism, everybody owns each other. The whole society and the individual communities is based on voluntary human relationships. No human is 'owned'.

I can stick it. I have for over 10 years in understanding that the 'establishment' is not about human concerns but greed and conservatism - a reluctance to accept the new. Cultural dogma. I fear that we will actually make it as a species now that we are entering a period of catastrophe. Our politicians have pursued votes instead of truths. We have to take control of democracy by understanding how the scams work and how we don't really get a say.
