Love that he didn't let the interviewer get away with the standard narrative 👏
@rt-uh6mt6 ай бұрын
Yes, Chomsky, like usual, pushes the narrative that Western powers are evil and they're the reason there is no peace over there. This interview is a joke. This idea that there was an "international consensus" that the USA blocked and the media suppressed is nonsense. And even if there were, Israel is under no obligation to abide by that, just because Chomsky claims most Americans supported it, which is also a joke. According to international law, the Israelis are under no obligation to give the Palestinians anything. But the fact is that they have offered them land on several occasions. This after they, the Palestinians rejected the initial UN offer that would have given them more land than the Israelis. It is the Palestinians who chose war every time.

RoPl Hamas relies on individuals across the middle East to provide them with funding. Whether these individuals are in Qatar, Iran, West Bank, Etc. However, it is false to even assume that the the Palestinian authority (or even most Arab countries) fund Hamas mainly for one reason: Hamas has a whole different ideology within the political spectrum of the Middle East. The Baathist Arab states (mainly secular Social nationalists) oppose the Islamist forces (Whether they be Hamas, and Hezbollah). The gulf states wouldn't even think of funding Hamas. Saudi Arabia detained many people who they accused of funding and supporting Hamas. The Saudi Arabian Government and much of their gulf companions open up to Israel by the day while their dissent of Hamas also rises. It isn't right to group the whole middle East under one category of a political domain wen the truth is that they are heavily divided, sadly. While Israel grows as a military occupation with funding and support from some of the most economically powerful and military heavy states from the west, Arab states remain divided and even some already succumbed to the US and their agenda in the middle East.

He synthesizes, documents using a range of credible sources, a very credible argument that America is embarking on a reckless and dangerous imperial mission. You know the best books make us feel uncomfortable about the things we disagree with. This book does just that. “Hegemony or Survival: America’s Quest for Global Domination” is published by Metropolitan books -it’s part of a six-part project called the American Empire series. A perfect illustration of why the MSM needs to censor Chomsky. This guy must be the the last mainstream journalist who ever asked Chomsky a question. When he went back to his studio, everyone, especially his boss, said "How many times do we have to tell you: No Chomsky Interviews!"
@noelsavory49836 ай бұрын
True, but you can tell he's not really listening or engaging with what Chomsky is saying, he's just trying to make his points, whatever Chomsky says, even when Chomsky shows him that his question is factually incorrect.

Like denying the genocide in Cambodia, yea? Chomsky claimed victims were exaggerating about atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge, but his fans tend to forget that he was an apologist for the one of the worst dictators of modern time. He also made every excuse under the sun for Slobodan Milosevic in the wars of Yugoslavia. We all know Chomsky's take, blame the west and excuse the rest.

Calling Chomsky unbiased is a joke.. Don’t get me wrong, very intelligent man, but CERTAINLY biased!
@jorditimmer28406 ай бұрын
Even though this is something I would want to believe for the sake of feeling like my information is the right information, I simply don't know. There always is a 50/50 chance a person is simply fabricating the story (ask yourself, if this man made this up, how would you know?). Even then there is a chance they make mistakes in their judgement, they may be truthfull, however their knowledge may be faulty. Judging such a difficult subject like this is incredibly hard. Please take care on judging people and be critical in reading comments like mine. Don't trust my word, read up and make sure I am wrong. I know I am copy-pasting this, typing out such a long comment again and again would be a big hassle, I just want people to question. If I am wrong, I'd love to hear why. Don't hesitate to enlighten me :D.
@jorditimmer28406 ай бұрын
I don't know if your information is anymore truthfull than Chomsky's nor can I confirm/deny anything. But I must say the fact that you deny him being unbiased gives me the hope that some people truly are :). He is undoubtly an intelligent man but I am not sure if a person can be truly unbiased when they are aware of their behaviour being recorded for many generations to see. @@carrauntoohil86 If you feel different about this, please let me know :D. April 2002 interview: Oct 2023 nothing has changed between Israel and the occupied former nation of Palestine
@christheguy55546 ай бұрын
In 2005, 21 Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip were unilaterally dismantled and Israeli settlers and army evacuated from inside the Gaza Strip. Following the withdrawal, Israel continues to maintain direct control over Gaza's air and maritime space, six of Gaza's seven land crossings, maintains a no-go buffer zone within the territory, controls the Palestinian population registry, and Gaza remains dependent on Israel for its water, electricity, telecommunications, and other utilities.

Epstein funded lots of good stuff so let’s not immediately convict anyone who associated with him. Now as for people we know went to pedo island many times, well I’m much more suspicious of them (though one could reasonably argue it still wasn’t obvious what we was doing by the scenes but who knows really, it’s hard but not impossible to believe).
