2) Tagging Rooms 6:45 - How to Tag a Room, Renumbering and Renaming Revit Rooms using the Room Tags reporting labels and How to Setup a Room Tag Family for your Revit project.
3) Create a Room Colour Scheme Plan and Colour Fill Legend 11:10 - How to create and edit your colour colour scheme, generate a colour fill legend to place on your revit plan and how to control your colour schemes with various reporting conditions, such as creating departments.
4) How to Create a Room Schedule 17:55 - How to create a base room schedule, how to add reporting parameters to your Room Schedule, how to order and reorganise your schedule and finally how to place your room schedule on your revit sheet.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out with the question. Alot to try answer there so bare with me and I'll do my best. I would create a room for both the bedroom and the Ensuite if they have a different funciton in terms of Schema Colour presentation. If it is a repeating arrangement that is copied throughout your hotel floor plan I would follow this format. Name the bedroom "Bedroom Type A" or similar. The associated Ensuite should be labelled "Ensuite A" to match. These room names can be used throughout - there is no issue with duplicate room names in Revit. However, you will require that each room placed has a unique Room Number ID as they cannot be duplicates in Revit. With regards to the "Floor reporting" - without additional clarification of what you mean , I will try cover the basics. There is a number of ways of presenting the flooring so it reports. 1 way it to create departments of your rooms so each room type is assigned to a department. You can then use this as the basis for colourising your plan via a department schema, with the schema colours being representative of the floor finishes. I only would recommend this for projects in very early design development stages. My preferred way is to actually model the finishes as independent floors (10mm carpet/ 12.5mm Laminate / 2mm mipolam espirit etc) and then use Tags and schedules to report the floor particulars. This would be my preferred approach for Tender level documentation or higher. Hope this all helps. Let me know how you get on. Niall
