For 90k, in the US you’ll get the E450 fully loaded with AMG styling….absolutely ridiculous to get a bare bones 220d for that.

Drove several versions of diesel E Class over many years and loved them. Couldn't justify the current pricing. It's insane!

I completely agree! However 55k on a new car and you are very much in Nissan/Kia/Skoda/Hyundai cross over SUV territory. It’s ridiculous really.

90 thousand euro for a 200hp 2L diesel and you don't even get an electric boot, and it's a press car. Holy Sh1t. Who on earth would buy this? People with more money than sense I guess

truly first time I like E class I think it looks like almost s class in previous gen, but pricetag is crazy for the car and money I can get rs6

Mercedes doing a shakedown with those prices. They no longer have the bullet proof reliability image they used to have back in the 90s.

Exactly! Those days are way way back in history. Mercedes of the 70’s 80’s were something else. These days they’re just overpriced plastic iPads on wheels. No bulletproof engineering at all

I’ve had several Mercedes Diesels and loved them except for the last one (Bluetec). At least in the USA diesels have no advantage. Diesel fuel is as expensive as 5 star octane fuel and my 2019 E300 turbo 4 gets 32 mpg in the city and 40 on the highway. Once you throw in the extra maintenance and repairs for a diesel they end up costing more than a petrol engined car.

Never been a fan of sunroofs so that wouldn't bother me anymore than a powered boot lid wouldn't but that price is ridiculous!

E clas for s class money is nothing sort of crazy. German cars are pricing themselves out of existence, certainly out of my price range and I’ve had at least 12 Mercedes and bmw cars and they were great, but this is at least 30k too much.

EUR90k??? Are they high on something???? Have they been smoking the fumes that come out of the exhaust pipes?? Mercedes emblem in the rear lights looks very 1990’s Max Power chav, cheapens the car massively. Mercedes have really lost their way and not the leader it once was.
