The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2021 with one half to David Card “for his empirical contributions to labour economics” and the other half jointly to Joshua Angrist and Guido Imbens “for their methodological contributions to the analysis of causal relationships”

David Card helps develop and advocates *design based studies" a form of economical experimental methodology to analyze labor economic causal relationship to forward studies that depend on experimentally repeatable results. Dr Card and the late Allen Kruger applied this methodology looking a the labor economic consequences of minimum wages laws in the fast food restaurant labor markets under high scrutiny and criticism. Joshua Angrist defines strategic economic analysis / empirical strategies in labor economics.

Maybe an Imbens could compare the economic impact of Germany's unification verses ... Korea's non unification OR Russia's non unification with Crimea /Ukraine OR China's non unification with Taiwan?
