i love it when archetypes are based on classical literature. Noble Knights, Burning Abyss, Ancient Warriors, etc. i'd like to see an archetype based on the Twelve Labors of Hercules. have Herc himself be the central card obviously. toss in some monsters like the Nemean Lion, Hydra, and Mares of Diomedes that becomes equips for Herc when he slays them. maybe make the 12 Labor monsters similar to Kaijus when they summon themselves to your opponent's field.

So, the TCG exclusive Artogus CAN include a knightly poem, but the Japanese Avram gets his life story transformed into "CHECK THIS OUT".

An archetype with a great tale and nobility... telling the story of Great King Arthur and the Twelve Knights of the Round Table... combining their strength and bravery, they can conquer the fight, equip with noble arms...

For those who don't know. Artorigus - Arthur Medraut - Mordred Gawayn - Gawain Drystan - Tristan Noble Knight brothers - Gareth,Gaheris,Agravain Gwalchavad - Galahad Peredur - Percival Laundsallyn - Lancelot Bedwyr - Bedivere Ivyanne - Igraine Eachtar - Ector Gwenhwyfar - Guinevere or Gwenevere

As a person that actually plays Noble Knights; Brothers is either the combo starter (the others being Iyvanne and Medraut), or a valuable special summon target for Isolde because of the returning cards back to the deck for more future Isolde plays while getting a +1 in the hand. Brothers can also send Gwenhwyfar, Queen of Noble Arms and Glory of the Noble Knights back to the deck, as Brothers targets noble knight/arm *cards,* not noble knight monsters or noble arms equip spells (Though, because Gwen has a GY effect to attach herself to a noble knight, it's better off targeting something other than her (That's if you actually want to use her)). Brothers can also allow you to instantly go into Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigus (the rank five) because it doesn't have a restriction on what level the Noble Knight(s) it special summons, and there's two Noble Knights that are level five without needing a Noble Arms. This is if you feel Excaliburn's GY effect is too slow, which, to be honest, really fucking is. Using Merlin's GY effect (Foolish Burial the old man; it's in the manuscript he's buried alive, anyway) or having Eachtar, Laundsallyn, and have Brothers to special out the two past mentioned monsters are quicker than Excaliburn; all Excaliburn is really useful for is the "can't be targeted by opponent card effects" for the equipped monster, and even then, it's not that useful for that either. The Noble Knight token *is* the cat. The archetype specific token has the same artwork for Iyvanne. 27:39 The scabbard doesn't heal the wearer; they just can't *bleed* while wearing it. In other words, they can still take stabs and cuts while wearing the scabbard and keep going, but if they lose or take off the scabbard before those wounds can close, they'll start actually bleeding.

Noble knights was my first real duel links deck. I love it i wanna buy each of them just to own them. I think they really got me understanding how much more complex Yu-Gi-Oh has gotten over the years and depending on the cards and how they flow.

A interesting fact is that Lightning uses this deck in YGO LoD: LE, and I think there's a rank 8 number monster of Lancelot which I think is cool

Noble Knight Custennin in OCG can give player additional Normal Summon ANY monster, instead of just Noble Knight. If playing Lady of the Lake. Also it becomes optional effect while TCG is mandatory.

I hope you also explain the lore of both their stories in short. I know a little bit about the Arthur lore but the French one I don't know at all.

There was a time I combined these with Burning Abyss, to make a sort of "Round Table Control". I called it Medieval Literature, lol. Basically use Dante and Beatrice to dump all your 1 of knights into the grave (Or Gwen/Lady, whatever you need), then take advantage of your full GY with table to churn out card advantage. It ended up being a slower helmet-y Burning Abyss deck that also had access to the kings in the extra deck, so it was cool, I suppose, haha

It's sad that most of my circle who dont play yugioh only know the king Arthur story through Fate. I don't really care for the original knights of the round table but I absolutely adore this archetype. I have every single rarity of every single Noble Knights and Noble Arms card. I love this archetype more than Lightsworns and I LOVE lightsworns.

As a fan of both light attribute monsters and Arthurian lore, this is right up my alley.

Man looking at how Konami of America decides to localize the names of the Arthurian knights has me thinking: Isn’t it crazy how the primary source for the lore of a legendary English king was complied by a French guy?

Me: just make build that combines chevalier de fleur noble knights with flame and regular noble knights. The build actually works decently well, plus added a phoenix gearfield and you can actually do a lot of damage.

Honestly remembering how fun the noble arms kinda made me realize how underwhelming the Infernoble arms are in comparison, being more 'one and done' effect cards rather than actual weapons / equip cards. Which is too bad cause otherwise, the Infernoble were just as good if not better than the Noble Knights, with Emperor Charles even being a more 'proper' boss monster.

Release restraint wave is a very good tech in this deck. Pop an equip that requips and blow up your opponents backrow 😢

I love the idea of round table of the noble knights but there is one thing that forever makes it nigh worthless to me, the draw effect requires you to control/have in your GY EXACTLY 12! So if with new support you got 13 different names on field or in gy? Yep your not drawing a card
