That's not what he said. His answer was, the exact number has been already released to the public and he didn't have it in front of him. Poilievre is more interested in trying to generate the appearance of wrongdoing, where none actually exists.

@@XXX3155 actually, the question was out of line. His "family" writ large is not included in the Ethics Act. His spouse and dependants are. That's why the answer was not provided. It's both an irrelevant and an in appropriate question. Furthermore, his wife did not earn fees. She was reimbursed for disbursements. Not the same thing.

He did? He read out the Conflict of Interest Act which clearly states that it only applies to his spouse and dependents (his children). His spouse was cleared by the Ethics Commissioner. Why does he have to say how much his mother or brother was paid? They have nothing to do with the COI. Do you know how much your father, mother or siblings make? Pierre made a fool out of himself. It was great! lol

Judging that most Canadian voters are uninformed voters, this is not too surprising. Besides, what is the alternative right now? Things are not going well enough in the country to give NDP a try and the Conservatives have done nothing to convince the population that they'd be any better, they still carry the stench of Harper. Hell, just as an example, Quebec rejected Trudeau in he last election, but they preferred to revive their dead Bloc than vote conservative.
