De todas as cantoras da Sant Andreu Jazz Band, que eu ouvi, Alba é a que chega mais perto de Andrea Motis. Ela canta muito bem. E pode se tornar um grande cantora. Suas interpretações indica que ela está a caminho de chegar lá. Parabéns Alba!

Vaya dos monstruos del jazz: Alba Armengou, la chavala de 17 años y Scott Hamilton, el chavalín de 64 ... el presente / futuro compartiendo escenario con el presente / pasado. Y los dos bordándolo y retroalimentándose mutuamente. Absolutamente sensacional. Y si les añadimos un fantástico solo de Joan Martí, otro que va para genio, bueno, de hecho ya lo es, a todo el resto de la chavalería de la banda, llena de figuras (Doménech, Carla, Élia, la "otra" Alba, Marçal, Codina, Sauqué, Koldo, Víctor, Elsa, Pablo, Casanova, Tato ...) y a un Chamorro desatado, casi diría que poseído 😂... Pues oye, se marcan una interpretación memorable, de lo mejorcito que le he visto a la SAJB en todos estos años. Pero lo Alba y Scott, guau ... eso se sale del mapa, de verdad ... [ Y un detalle curioso de Alba, que también se lo he visto a Andrea Motis: cuando cantan con el micro en la mano derecha, mueven los dedos como si estuvieran tocando los pistones de la trompeta. Deformación profesional, que se dice ... 😉]

Who’s that band member playing the alto sax? He’s good. This arrangement is not quite up to Joan’s usual high standard especially with the odd key changes that lost me a few times. As a result Alba’s usually deft handling of challenging melodies was made to jump around slipping and sliding in a most jarring way. A little too experimental for me.
