Doing so would rewrite the entire multiverse cause catastrophic cosmic problems because rick wouldn't be this anymore destiny would kill rick in every way to stop him and even if so he'd die due to a pardox effect he cause rippling time like that.

Rick is a broken man. He cares about his family more than anything even though her doesn't show it. It's only because he's seen it all, he's lost everything that meant anything. So, when it comes to love he pretends like he's not attached so that when he loses them again it won't hurt as much. He can't escape the pain, the sorrow, the helplessness that he felt. He couldn't save those that mattered the most to him. After that he sought temporary relief for his pain, constant drinking, partying, nonsense adventures. The Rickest Rick is the one who never wanted to be one.

We use it to justify what we feel. To say "realize being depressed is useless" means just as much to someone depressed as the phrase "realize being happy is useless" means to you. It means nothing. We rationalize what we feel, not the other way around. It's not the knowledge that feeling someway is stupid that will make you feel some other way. For example: think of something you find reaaally boring. Now realize how stupid it is to find anything boring. Is it fucking exciting now? No, it feels just as empty. You would probably get frustrated if you had to do that activity, because you know you "should" be able feel good with that activity, according to your logic, but it just keeps feeling empty and meaningless.

My father passed 2 months ago at 59 from NHL. He was the smartest and angriest person I've ever and will ever probably ever know. He had plans to change how we drive, how to solve climate change etc. I feel like the more intellgent you are the less empathy you have. Even dying in my house angriest look on his face as he passed I couldn't help but hold back the tears until his skin went cold and he had no pulse. I never wanted to show weakness. But still keep the smart ones you know close to you, because it's true what the say about em. We live together, die alone

Rick is the most relatable character to my life imaginable just constant mistakes caused from pain and suffering cause the only thing you truly love is always out of your reach but is constantly on your mind and then existing in a limbo not sure if you’re really alive or dead or if anything is even real.

Well yes, it was a chemical reaction, but just because we are meaningless meat-bags in a meaningless universe doesn't mean we shouldn't live and use the time we have. For all we know we might live in a simulation, but that shouldn't stop us from living what we know as "life" to it's fullest :/

But it’s always not really there. the only real meaning at all I can dirive from life is intelligence because it might make meaning but it can’t and thus even the best moments of your life will never matter. emotions should be exploited or ignored always wether it be sex drugs oucahol other or nothing your life won’t matter but it might feel like it does sometimes

Sad but.. gotta understand that you gotta be happy that you are where you are, and that you do exist. That you are somewhere that people care for you and appreciate just you. Everything will come to an end there is no doubt.. but that’s past us, the only thing to do is forget and enjoy what time you have. Because none of us can stop it. No point in crying about it when you can go out and have some fun and enjoy what little time you’ve been given.

If you have a cake you're going to enjoy it, you might think about the process of making it, but not how it's just a bunch of stuff mixed together so you can't savor it. You should experience emotions like any other human without invalidating them because they're "simply chemical reactions" especially since they aren't below you, they're a part of you
