Your removal isn't always President a duel, so it doesn't matter if it is there or not.

because he have that whatever monster in hand to negate it, and thought it was enough to negate that one card, which became his downfall, you can't rely on 1 trigger as defense anymore, and only use it to test the water, if it work, good, if it's not, depend on how much you want to keep your trigger going

Usually to get him out I usually will summon The Black stone of legend, then use it for a special summon to summon red eyes black dragon, then special summon Darkness afterwards.

chained the second magic cilinder + magical cylinders after Kuriphoton's

The second Magic Cylinder resolves first before Kuriphoton, hence the damage still applies. Kuriphoton just blocks the first Magic Cylinder.
