Aw, this takes me way back to the 1950/60's growing up in Glasgow . My Dad played this on vinyl 45rpm .. along with the likes of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton many more .. and all the auld Irish tunes too .. music that I still love to this day. Music is a gift that we should pass on to our kids the way our folks did with us .. Songs send us back in time + remind us of people and places long gone . 🎸🎼🎸

This brings back fond memories of my grandparents who often played the Alexander Brothers music. I never appreciated the music as a child, but now I do. Memories of a happy time surrounded by people I loved and miss very much to this day. RIP grandparents, I love you.

I first met Tom & Jack 40 yrs over ago when I compered all their shows at The Queensberry Arms Hotel in Annan and it was so much fun , both were true gentlemen and made everyone feel like one big family. How time fly's. We really have lost two of best entertainers ever. I would meet up from time to time through my work at Grampian TV in the 80s and 90s . I listened to a great tribute to them both on BBC Scotland's sat night show Take The Floor . I'm so proud to have met you both and worked with you . Will never forget you both RIP both.

This reminds me of my childhood in rural South Lanarkshire. For 18 blissful years everything about Scotland was good. These kinds of songs, and 2 great football teams - Rangers and Scotland, and I had heard nothing of any others until I went to University in Glasgow. What a shock and different perspective on life that gave!!
