In this video I'm reviewing the 1985 eyeshadow palette from the New Zealand indie brand Basalaj Beauty. I'm also reviewing three of their blushes (Euphoria, Zest and Queen) and one of their highlighters (Hyped).

The pigment in the shadows is really nice. I do enjoy the lion imprints on the products and I'm also a Leo! The looks you created are stunning as usual! ❤

The moment I saw the blues and gold, I wanted to see that in a look and you came through... But then the looks got better and better and I'm just gobsmacked🤯The blue with the flowers, STUNNING!!!

Bestie the bloopers that’s why I love ya 🤣 I have never heard of this brand but the blues in that palette with the gold wow also Euphoria you know that’s my shade, I could tell straight off with the packaging that they were outside my tax code but wow everything looks amazing quality, fab vid as always Pickle and oh my gosh the looks are out of this world amazing 😮❤

I knew you were a leo . So am I . My birthday is August 2. Cleopatra was a Leo as well. She was known for her dramatic eye painting.

This brands vision is beautiful, i wish more would follow suit. I think the blushes are such a pretty selection of colors. ❤❤the details in her brand is what makes her special I wonder if they ship to Alaska? I was born in 1985 its a good year but im biased lol

I totally agree with you ❤️ The blushes are so stunning indeed! And the formula makes them even better 🥰 I couldn't find Alaska in the list of countries they ship to, but sometimes I have asked the brands directly and most of the times they have been able to solve it. 🥰

I am from NZ. I saw it selling in Sephora. Unfortunately the prices are insane, the eyeshadows are the same price point as Natasha Denona prices. I bought a sliver highlighter from this brand tho. It's the same price as MAC extra dimension highlighters. The packaging looks cheap. I don't think this brand will last...

Thank you so much for your input as a NZ citizen! I think the quality of the products are very nice so I'm rooting for the brand. It's so many hidden costs when you're running a small brand that a lot of consumers doesn't think of. I understand your point too, if it's too expensive people won't buy it in the long run.
