Neogen Dermology recently released its Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser and I had been excited to try it since reading the mostly positive reviews. I was ultimately let down for several reasons... I must admit though, when you rinse it off it leaves skin feeling squeaky clean- which usually means your skin has been stripped of it's natural moisture. Some people like this feeling, for me I knew it meant my skin was in need of a good moisturizer immediately.

I like this but won't buy this again. It only bubbled with the first use. I agree the jar packaging sucks.

It's really a bummer they decided to package it like that because after the first use or two you don't get much bubbling effect. 😫

I have watched several reviews of yours and you seem to mention the jar packaging thing a lot. Why keep buying products in jars only to say it's a negative when you do your reviews? If it bothers you so much why not just choose not to purchase items in jars, you can clearly see its packaging prior to purchase.

Because sometimes products people want to try/are curious about due to hype etc comes in jars…plenty of great products come in jars. But I agree the jar packaging for this particular product makes no sense given oxidation process is so sensitive why not pack it in a tube or something that exposes the product to less air? It’s bizarre

As always best no bs review of the product. I tried it & find this review to be most accurate. There isn’t even much product in the jar, it’s filled with air at the bottom. Fussy, difficult to close properly. The reviews on the site are clearly fake (different names, but reviews are paraphrasing other ones - “good for living in a city with pollution” etc). It’s only good fun after the first use…neogen should just sell it as a single use mask. It’s a complete waste.
