I know you love the Klairs, but I tried so hard to get used to it and make it work..used the whole bottle...but I HATED it. I could never get it to emulsify for me and even after of course doing a second cleanse, I could never get it off all the way. Just felt like it left this permanent film. I've used the Dermalogica Precleanse for probably close to 15 years, and that has always been my favorite cleansing oil. I try different ones now and then but always comes back. It emulsifies like a dream, and rinses perfectly clean, so clean sometimes I feel like I don't even need a second cleanse. It does have a scent to it, but it doesn't bother me even tho I do have pretty sensitive skin. Currently I'm using the Juice to Cleanse, which I actually do like and it also emulsifies immediately and rinses well, but I still prefer the Dermalogica. Being that I just wasn't thrilled with it, and due to Rob's exposé on Mad About Skin, I'm not in any hurry to purchase other Klairs products going forward.

Judging by the ingredient list it seems to be a water based cleanser with some oils added rather than an oil. Does it really have the texture of an oil cleanser?

Clinique TTDO oil and balm are my favorites but I don’t mind trying one or two of your other favorites as long as they are fragrance-free and don’t leave any residue. The worst that I tried was DHC cleansing oil. It broke out my skin and left an oily residue.

The worst first cleanse I’ve ever tried to this day is the drunk elephant melting butter. It doesn’t emulsify. I had to wipe it off and then go in with my second cleanse…. TWICE. And my eyes were blurry for a good 2 hrs even after I kept cleansing and wiping. A nightmare 😫

Hi Sarah my three faves are the Klairs one shown, the purito one and the Avene zerocalm - all are fragrance free and don't upset my dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. I don't really need to double cleanse with these, unless i've had a full face of makeup or multiple applications of spf. I like the laneige one as a morning cleanse rather than a makeup remover - it is one I felt needed a second cleanse if used to remove makeup. Some of the others look interesting. For those who can tolerate fragrance the elemis omega cleansing oil works really well (I received it as a gift and did manage to use it to remove makeup, as long as I used a second cleanser to remove any fragrance residue). It does rinse cleanly also and if it weren't for the fragrance I could have used it alone. Best wishes.

@@tedoymisojos No problem and I hope it works for you. Here in the UK at full price it's £16 for 400mls (but it's usually on offer somewhere for around £13). I don't mind either a cleansing oil or balm, I gotta say cleansing oils are just more practical, the only problem with most of them that they're doused with fragrance and essential oils unfortunately, overall fragrance in a wash off form doesn't seem to bother my skin much but sometimes it does slightly burn around my eyes which doesn't last long, new Neutrogena cleansing oils are amazing I'm not a big Neutrogena fan but they did a great job although the fragrance is a a little bit overwhelming which to be expected from Neutrogena but it performs well taking all my sunscreen off and the price when it's on sale of course is veryyyy affordable

Aliceintherabbithole did a good comparison of the big K-beauty retailers that was helpful. I just stick with yesstyle because it's huge, has so many products and has points..lol.. but it's definitely not the cheapest. It does, however, have a lower free shipping mark. The cream skin one is super interesting, I may have to try that. I absolutely love the Purito green one as well as the Tonymoly apricot one. Those are my favorites. I honestly like the Tonymoly one slightly more but I like to use both interchangeably. The Purito is a really nice medium thickness that’s just really pleasant. The Tonymoly is very light and just smells amazing. The scent is very gentle and I normally get sick of scents but not this one. They both rinse incredibly clean with no residue. I really wish the Tonymoly apricot cleansing oil got more attention, it really is amazing. Plus it’s like $10 on Stylevana. These are some great recommendations though! I always love your videos.

Hi again from darkest West of Ireland 👋 Happy New Year!! I am wondering if you have a recommendation for a cleanser thats fragrance free but stil has a nice scent and feels enjoyable to use? Cruelty free would be a bonus. I cant use CeraVe, or even La Roche or many of the usual good cleansers as they dont make me feel nice (and smell either of nothing or two medicinal, like CeraVe Acne Control does, or even Inkey Salicylic). That being said, i cant do parfum/fragrance either, so the best fit Ive found so far is Aveeno Calm and Restore (which is fragrance free but has a gentle oat scent) - I use the same moisturiser because its pleasurable to use and doesnt make my depression worse! Im addicted to 100% organic rosewater as a mist as its fresh and uplifting without essential oils which give me rhinitis and migraines. Any recommendations of cruelty free, fragrance free cleansers that have pleasant scent would be so cool. Thank you for everything youve shared on your channel. ❤ Kay
