My skin used to LOVE the original pure ceramide capsules and transform it to glowy and supple. But when they changed it to silicones its just a greasy coating. The pure ceramide is why they originally had to be single serves protected from light. Now it's 'cones it could easily just be in a dropper bottle but people have got used to the format.

I remember playing with the capsules my mom used when I was little and I remember it being much more of a gel-serum texture than what they are nowadays. They all have a really high concentration of different silicones which makes it not the best product for many skin types (especially acne prone or oily). My mom would freak out whenever I played with those little capsules... now I know why $$$$$

I’ve had great luck with these. Any of the capsules. I save them just for nighttime use. Something about fragrance free and fewer ingredients is always a better choice for me. It also forces me to use a proper amount.

I remember my Aunt using these when I was a kid I dk if its the same capsules but I remember it was definetely Elizabeth Arden and My Aunt had beautiful skin so maybe they work lol

There’s something about Elizabeth Arden that reminds me of strong fragrance. I think it used to be in a department store that I went to as a kid with my mom...ahhhh I can smell that perfume-y smell now. Clearly I was traumatized 😂🥰

Their Retinol Capsules are probably my favorite out of the four I've tried. Such nice packaging especially if we ever get to travel again!

I love those sample sets, it's a nice way to get to try something before you buy. If i recall i ordered this top from Amazon. It's so hard to shop for clothes online so at least they have a good return policy.

Can this be used with Tretinoin?

You certainly can- I'd probably recommend using the tretinoin first then this afterwards- unless you have very dry or sensitive skin in that case you could use the Ceramide Capsule first to buffer the tretinoin a bit.

See that's why they jack up prices and make pretty and luxurious packaging, cause they know there is a market for that and they know that some people like that kind of stuff and will only buy expensive skincare such as your late mother
