This Tutorial will show you How to Fill Your Design with Random Objects and Color using Script in Adobe Illustrator.

In this video, I will show you how to use three useful illustrator scripts to fill your design with objects or colors randomly.
here is the script
1. Circle Fill
The script fills outline shapes with packed circles.

2. Replace with Symbol
This script can exchange several objects with a symbol selected from the symbol panel in Illustrator.

Much appreciated! I also found the "Random Swatches Fill" script very useful to, well, randomly choose shapes! hahaha I use the script to add random colors to the selected shapes beforehand. So, just select a single shape, do Select > Same > Fill Color and just then making the substituions... much better than choosing one by one :D

THX 4 Sharing - Great learning - and amazing what you can do whit Ai ::: Before you create a symbol from objects that have two or more elements make sure the objects is compound path (go to object > compound path > make or ctrl + 8)

@@nobudesign . I did , but they does not show in the scripts menu. When I add them through "Other Scripts... F12" link from the menu, they give me a popup of the script describing its procedure and what it is for but do not add them to the menu. So if you know how to add or some workaround or any version for 2019 pls tell me. Thanks.

Make sure you add the scripts at the rigth directory, and restart your illustrator if you already open.

Not working for me on Illustrator CC 2019 v23.1 ... I was able to get a different script "Random objects selection" which allowed me to select a given % of a group of objects, so I used that instead to individually recolor each randomly selected 16% subsection of my design into 6 colors.
