Thank you for actually putting a good alternative to what WotS is rather than just demand its removal with no alternative. Idk if I agree at 26 dmg for her finishers, I would have to test it in-game, but I like the ideas here. I'd also prefer a fix to her kick/undodgeable mix rather than just shifting it to unblockable. Too bad this is just a KZfaq comment and not TG notes.

@@justanaverageferret I want unblockables instead because I’m sick of having nothing to offer in team fights around all these all guard characters with their recoveries and I feel like undodgables make the most fun part of the game(movements) stagnant. Nobushi mirrors for example could be so beautiful to watch but she counters her own kit hard so it never feels like the more in tuned player with her kit wins.

@@Jondaliner That’s not vipers retreat, that’s an opener light. But vipers retreat actually does have weird I frames. 80 reps on nobushi and I’ve learned how to option select variable timed bashes and certain finisher heavies with retreat. It is not punishable Because it gives you range, you’re able to dodge backwards when you use it while also covering feint to GB. If you use vipers retreat at the end of warmonger, hitos or cents bash; you’re able to dodge it with a ranged light. This also works with with berserkers finisher heavy and some others I’ve forgot. Interestingly though it also works with an ordinary lights but the timing is different and harder, all her lights have a range property which acts as a very small back dodge

@@creativeusername3408 the light after kick is not an opener light attack. It is a dodge light, which has bleed. I did not call it Viper's Retreat, the previous commenter did. I corrected it by pointing out that it's on the kick side lights only, which is designed to use the dodge light afterwards. You gotta look at his time stamp to see what he was talking about. IDK why you're trying to correct me on something I was not incorrect about lol but cool info about the charged bash dodge thing with Vipers.

the bleed could be brought down to like 1-2 damage a tic instead of 3. but should last longer. that way you keep way of the shark up more often without the damage coming from the bleed itself

@@Jondaliner From what I saw, you were using way too many kicks. It was easier for them to react and plus you made some obvious plays when you used some chained attacks. I know you’re a veteran at this game and I know you only have some reps on that character (14 or something). I don’t want to explain a lot because I know you know the game well so let me give you some advice about her. Nobushi has one of the worst dodges I have ever seen in this game, but her dodge light can be really helpful if used correctly. For example, if someone was playing a hype armor character and just constantly swing like their hype armor will help, just constantly dodge light. Don’t use her side light in unnecessary moments because that joker is easily parry-able. Her heavy side dodge is only good for chaining your attacks, just don’t use it on the first attack obviously. Zone attack, nothing much said but if your opponent is waiting for your first move, don't use it her zone it can be reactable. Her hidden stance, only use it when you know they are going to attack, also if they are trying to spam their attacks on you while you are using hidden stance just do a hidden stance + side dodge. I saw you were trying to use it in most cases but you’ve gotten hit so many times on some matches lol. Don't use hidden stance while you're being attack or you'll constantly get interrupted. That's all I really have, I could be missing something or I could be wrong on some stuff, just let me know. I have her on Rep 58 if you're wondering and I have been playing this game for quite a long time until I dropped off (due to drama). I hope it was helpful, if not I apologize for wasting your time.
