Nuestro invitado, Bryn Dentinger (EE.UU.) es profesor asociado del Museo de Historia Natural de Utah y curador del área de micología el Museo de Historia Natural de Utah. Estudió biología y trabajó en un laboratorio de farmacología en Nueva York. Luego realizó su doctorado en el departamento de Biología Vegetal en Minnesota, donde estudió el sistema molecular de los hongos, específicamente hongos porcini y clavarioides. Our guest, Bryn Dentinger (USA) is the Curator of Mycology at the Natural History Museum of Utah and Associate Professor in the Biology Department at the University of Utah. He studied his BA degree in Biology and worked in a pharmacology laboratory at OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc in NYC.
He pursued a PhD with David McLaughlin in the Plant Biology department at the University of Minnesota where he studied the molecular systematics of mushrooms (porcini and clavarioid fungi). At the Royal Ontario Museum/University of Toronto he made his postdoc developing methods for DNA barcoding of mushrooms with Jean-Marc Moncalvo.
