very good ....got my son the size smaller GBX 55 last Xmas. So impressed ordered myself the GBX75. So many folks dont understand the override feature or the 60 second timeout feature. again great detailed review.

This is where it’s at. Got the gb70 back in September. Used it on someone else’s truck a week ago and it didn’t work. Lights were trailing and everything. Got this one and compared it on a load tester. The 75x goes straight to 16 volts and 13 under load. The GB70 started at 12v and 9 under load. The X models have USB C chargers vs micro B. Unfortunately can’t return and don’t want to sell it to someone that won’t be able to use it so I’m screwed in that sense. Kept it just for the usb port in case of power outage.

My GB40 is 5 years old and still works great! Wonder if I'll replace it with the GB70 or something similar from the X series... Having said that the GB70 is often on sale...

Excellent review! Gonna buy this to start my dad’s dead diesel tractor. Other jump starter wouldn’t crank it.

@@leonardfrutos5346 no, I believe it’s something more than just battery. I’ve had a few jump starters and the Noco is most solid construction. Tractor is a 2.7 liter diesel - Case.

Yes it is! Unfortunately You gotta replace them every 3 to 4 years. All boosters are like that.

Most definitely will a 6.6 even though it says up to 6.5. Seen it done

Get the X models! Much better than gb. Charger is usbc vs microB too. C is newer and better.

@@rickvince the non x seem older. Load tests weren’t as high. Started at like 14 dropped to 12. The x models started at 16 dropped to like 13-14.

@@jeffbehringer1262 also I'd hate to be sent a model that was manufactured forever ago. Better play it safe and get a X model.
