Funny enough. The video was created to demonstrate an installation on a non-flat surface. I recommended including a few small peices of strip chaulk in the packaging. As for the orientation, it was determined by the 15amp dongle I use as a break-away pig tail. Water doesn’t get into the receptacle. The plug is adequate. Wouldn’t harm anything if water did seep in,. There is an integrated drain hole built-in to the receptacle. Thanks.
