That Noco Genius would be great not on does it maintain your batteries but I can also repair. Check out my video about how I did that to my 12 volt lead acid battery. It would also work on lithium and any kinds of batteries.

I just ordered one. One question, you said you weren't mounting it because you were only going to use it in your garage? So you won't keep it permanently connected to the batteries? If so why not just use your traditional 12v auto charger with the spring clamps?

Thank you for your comment. I choose it because it has smart charging and repairs the battery if needed. A regular car charger will work though. But from what I looked up and learned from the info I got, the Noco Genius Gen 5x2 will keep the batteries health better. Plus the bolts will hold tighter so with my kids, wife and me bumping the boat and cord won't loosen the connection. Thank you for your comment again.
