Robert Reveals The 3 Month Frank Lloyd Wright House 1a

Күн бұрынThis video talks about Frank Lloyd Wright's 1953 Usonian Exhibition House, which stood for approximately 3-months on the future site of the Solomon Guggenheim Museum in New York City. This house was one of my favorite designs by Mr. Wright; hopefully you will like it too.
After the Exhibition ended, the house was disassembled and auctioned off. It was never rebuilt, but the basic design reappears in two other completed houses, which appear in the video.

I'm reposting a slightly updated version of this video. Hopefully, the narration will be easier to hear.

Fascinating! The absolute gigantic scale of the exhibition house increases the perception of clean unadorned lines anticipating Eichler and other mid century modern designs in comparison to more typical Usonian designs. Thanks for this great video!
