I had downloaded this song on accident.. thought it was actually evanescence as i can't read Arabic. I was surprised by your voice.. its very calming.. so i was chilling enjoying it.. I started to hear an accent coming thru.. then the most beautiful Arabic song come thru my headphones. Such an amazing way to get non Arabic speakers to actually hear the language. One of my dearest friends from college is Saudi. I could've sat for hours and just listen to him speak in his mother tongue. Thank you for reminding me of those nostalgic memories. Much love!

Please let her express her own talent and feelings and develop her own style freely. Art does not answer to the masses. It is deeply personal and grows with the individual. I too adore the Arabic part because it a beautiful old song, Noel is naturally comfortable singing in her own language and her voice is as mellow as that of Fairouz when she was young. She may not want to be the next Fairouz but we should continue to support and encourage her and wish her the best. The English part is also brilliant. If you are inclined to be somewhat nationalistic, you can view this type of mashing as a cultural bridge between Arabic and modern Western music. Some of the comments below from Europeans who don't understand Arabic but still love the music and the words prove that beautiful music combined with a warm voice and a bright personality lift the human spirit anytime, anywhere.
