Never cared about Ph TV sitcoms coz we already had cable TV back then. But I clearly remember in grade school, I would watch Abangan Ang Susunod na Kabanata because of its witty script about commoners and politics. Tessie Tomas and Noel Trinidad were my favourites. It was aired at night, so I stayed up to watch it. It was later on that I found out both Noel Trinidad and Tessie Tomas are theatre actors. I wasn't surprised though. If it was their scene, alam mong superb acting, delivery at comedic timing. Iba talaga kalibre ng mga batikang artista in that era. I could say I was lucky enough to watch such brilliant actors like them on TV at that time. Abangan ang Susunod was really the only one of its kind, nothing came close to it. Now I'm interested to watch Family Matters. I'm so happy to know Mr. Noel Trinidad is still active and was recently given the recognition he deserves! Congratulations, sir!!!
