I think being sober and on no fap brings you face to face with loneliness and boredom, which is very uncomfortable if you’ve been numbing those feelings for a long time. But you can use that restlessness to motivate yourself to go out and form real connections and relationships instead of sating your desires with artificial and damaging pleasures

@@fepethepenguin8287 I agree that meditation and mindfulness are key if you’re trying to master your life force / sexual energy. Also, I think it’s good to transmute your sexual energy towards work, success, creativity. I don’t want a relationship with a girl currently, but just cuz I’m single doesn’t mean I should fritter away my life force fapping. I can use that energy for self development. Or just let the energy / restlessness be without worrying about it

I agree completely and whole heartedly Ive been meditating (wim hof) for 8 months now and it’s finally gotten me off nicotine and hopefully it helps me continue my no fap journey (day 3 wish me luck) I truely think it’s life changing stuff

Meditation helps you reorganize your thoughts. Itll help you focus on your goals. You need to clear your mind everyday or else you'll forget what your goal was and why you were even attempting no fap in the first place. There are a lot of videos on how to change your life around and be motivated and successful but no one tells you how to maintain those thoughts and that's where Meditation comes into play. It keeps you focused on your goals. It clears the bs from your mind.

I deal with both depression and anxiety and I believe it's due to this addiction to porn. I am new to this journey of taking back control of myself and life. I can't wait to finally see the positive benefits of it. Guys don't be ashamed of being aware you have an addiction we can all do this and gain our lives back and break the addiction

I quit porn and weed 3 week ago and was super depressed for like almost 3 weeks long, even looked up how to kill myself. I just couldn't be happy even if I tried so hard.. But now I feel great af! So fukin weird lol.

"I can't wait to finally see the positive benefits of it. " Bro, be aware and careful how you formulate your thoughts and words. Though this might look like a positive statement, the mind interprets is as negative. There is not difference for the mind between "I can't get out of depression" and "I can't wait to see results", they are both limiting and they will shape your actions during everyday life. Replace these thoughts and words with positive ones like "I am very close to seeing life-changing results", or whatever 'clicks' to you and observe the difference in how you view the world from then onward. Each guy has a different timetable. Just keep making progress a day at a time. One day will turn into two days. A week will turn into a month, and so on. Focus on becoming the best you that you can be, and on your long-term healing.

What I notice is most of my depression hits at night, so do something that makes you be ready to go to sleep before that surge of depression hits. I like working out and hiking

Been a chronic PMO since about 14, I’m 24 now. I’m on day 32 and it’s been real rough I couldn’t make it to work today the depression and irritable ness was so bad. I can feel all sorts of aches and sensations in my head that are new to me reminding me it is doing something up there, who knows how long it’s gonna take but I’m striving for 90days, come on guys let’s make a choice for a better life overall and not a quick fix that leaves us in a hole afterwards

I'm feeling pretty flatline rn I'm about 2 weeks in and most days are great. Today is meh not bad not good, however it's important to realize that having good days everyday is not fucking normal. If youre feeling gray, remember gray is an achromatic color, but it is still a color. It's the middle ground contrast to the highs and lows of life. This is all in my worldview though, but if it helps, it helps 🤷‍♂️

Yeah been feeling more sad and depressed while on nofap SR. Recently surpassed day 90 and how I view women is so much different. I no longer crave women's attention or desire to care at all of she's starring/gazing directly at me. (can even notice it through my peripheral vision) Maybe having too much attention is brining me down? I'm constantly manifestating money, job and my purpose over relationship/girls. I'm more focused than ever before. It feels exhausting getting starred at constantly and I always move quick to avoid them striking a conversation. My face is more dull looking now (or confident looking like IDGAF face) when they see me but to them it just don't matter. They keep staring. Before nofap I would still get flirtatious looks at the gym, stores, market etc. & wouldn't mind since it wasn't so "emphasized". But now it's overwhelming. I guess what I truly want now is an intimate connection. I want true love and not just a fling. I'm manifesting to find a high value women who takes care of herself, isn't at gyms or partying. I'm TIRED! What's worst, I'm a member society of #RedPill and know how women are. In this modern age, it's almost impossible to find the "right one". Life sucks.

I totally agree. I'm personally a pleasure seeking individual. Quitting anything that gives you pleasure is going to give you a withdrawal. Slow and steady wins the race. Its important to replace the dopamine with something else. Like fitness breathing techniques, feeling accomplished about goals or personal growth. Fasting has been a huge part of starting to discipline myself and has transcended to other addictions I had like playing video games, sugary food, impulsive drug use and of course fapping. I noticed a huge host of changes Much happier for the smallest of reasons More confidence when talking to others More Presence in conversation. Better ability to feel emotions Obviously benefits depend on how bad the addiction is.

I'm almost one week in to my no fap journey and I have felt a pretty intense depression/loneliness. I woke up at 3am feeling intense sadness and utilised breath work to help bring me into the present, it took 20 minutes and I started to feel much better. I can also recomend shaking your body, its a great way to release emotional trauma, its how animals heal from traumatic experiences, an ability we were conditioned out of because its seen as "weak". Hang in there, im with you.

The exact video which I was looking out for .I am on 86 day of no fap I do my regular work out , no smoke, no drink. I do meditation as well but down the line sometimes I feel depressed, worried but after watching this video I have got my answers

I never thought of NoFap withdrawal to cause depression like drug withdrawal. Thank you for this insight bro, I have been clean from drugs 2 months. As I felt better I also quit PMO, day 14 and right now it feels as it did when I quit drugs! It will get better!!!

Masturbating is not going to make you feel better. Quitting the habit won't make you feel better because you will crave it. But praying, asking god to fill your heart with his presence and the holy spirit it what I've found works the best. My lust went away and I have also gave up other harmful habits as a "side effect". But you have to be 100 percent faithful to god. May god bless you dear reader.

The withdrawal symptoms are supposedly cause you stopped doing it, but i like to think that it's happening because i got myself accustomed to it to begin with. The time you're most depressed and thinking about relapsing, is the moment you started nofap for. The reason you start nofap is to get through that, because that's the worst of it, and if you get past it, nothing form then on can stop you.

I have been having flatline for 160 days now and the reason why it has lasted so long is because not only have I gave up porn( a habit with a lot of dopamine release), but also I got injured and cant workout(i was working out since i was a kid). So my brain is now trying to adapt to these stimulation and except from depression, I also have 0 sex drive, my d*ck is shortened, I feel cold down there and when my flatline is very deep I dont feel happy by anything and would do anything for a small dosage of dopamine. But now my brain is rebooting and can finally enjoy music as I used to before, i have more motivation to do things and generally I'm more happy with simpler things. So if you are at the same road as me dont give up it will all be worth it. We are all gonna make it💪💯

I used to PMO 2-3 times a day and I smoke weed and drink 3 times a week. I'm starting with nofap hoping it'll help with the other addictions because I have an addictive personality lol I'm on day 29! I just relapsed yesterday on a 16 day streak, and I was really confused the whole time during that streak and wondering if Nofap even works. When I relapsed I also thought that maybe just masturbating was ok, but watching porn isn't. Which is partially true, but only after you've fully recovered as far as I know. After watching this video, everything just clicked. Thank you man, you've really helped me and put that coal in the fire for me. This will be my longest streak yet

I was depressed for a lot of my teenage years and didn’t really come to the realization that I was until I started this journey. I’ve been retaining for around 3 months now and I’m not going to lie it can get really hard and some days you feel very depressed but I pushed through those days and I feel like I’m finally on top again. 🙌🏼💪🏼

@@kotresh Of course! Just learn from my mistakes eat healthy everyday, exercise and listen to the messages your brain tells you! If you like to meditate this can help with the signs that the universe is giving you. Whenever you feel an urge I would simply start doing push-ups to distract myself from it. Also being in the places that you used to Spill your seed can be a comfortable place and may subconsciously activate that part of you that used to fap. Also try not to count days and get to over obsessed make it part of your lifestyle!! I hope this helped! 💪🏼

Tq so much brother,much love😊 but I also have one doubt, I meditate and exercise daily, actually I had to go through a trauma 6months ago which put me into severe depression and anxiety, actually that is what made me try nofap and meditation,as i thought that it could help me with my depression and anxiety, but it's only recently that I'm able to abstain for weeks,like 12or 15day streaks. Now my doubt is that aftet practicing these things I feel like I'm growing spiritually (just a little bit for now) and I feel like it's making me more and more loving towards everyone, I feel like treating everyone(god,people and even enemies) with pure love and innocence. But in contrast to this nature practicing nofap should make me feel more like a *Man* ,more blunt,more arrogant towards my enemies. I'm stuck I don't know how to be, with that loving nature I'm having rn I might even forgive the people who caused me trauma and even treat them with love (actually the people i loved back then caused me the trauma only thinking about their well-being and not giving a fuck about what i felt), i don't know what to do. I don't know how should i feel, i don't know how should i behave(I can be both "the stud" as well as the "loving one") but I can choose be only either one of them, not both. Advices will be very much appreciated☺️. thank you

@@kotresh I'm sorry for the trauma you had to go through to get to this place you're at now. Listen like I said don't count your days. I used to struggle with this as well but now after almost a year of retaining I've naturally stopped counting days. Seems like you're receieving some benefits but there is no right or wrong way to behave so to say. Everyone has there own morals and beliefs. I personally like to treat people with respect no matter who they are but if you do something that is disrespectful I naturally ignore that person and pretend they don't matter because in reality they don't matter. We don't need negativity in our lives and I don't like giving energy towards negative entities because in the end we are who we surround ourselves with and we feed off of other peoples energy. I'm a naturally very quiet natured person and when I finally have a chance to open up its because I feel I can trust that person. I've always been like this and it makes it a whole lot easier for me to not focus on pleasing others or letting anyone into my space and disrespect my character. Things that helped me on this journey the most is when I do watch youtube videos it's usually aimed towards what I can benefit from ie. business, self development, exercising, positivity, motivational speakers you name it. Also building good habits such as reading, journaling (this is good to start to understand your thought patterns) also planning out my day before I start it and finally positive affirmations to resist the negativity. At the end of the day no one is perfect we all struggle we all have doubts and are all lost at some point but I have faith that you will find yourself on this journey and learn to forgive your past self for any self sabotage you may have caused. Notes 📝 If you started the Nofap journey especially hard model and have noticed depressive feelings this video may help. NoFap is like withdrawing from any other addiction. David is saying this is a natural process as it is a brain imbalance. You will feel a flatline, this may happen as you may not be used to the long time of not getting that dopamine rush. Because you are not attaining this dopamine rush your brain is trying to find a homeostasis. The process of taking the dopamine receptors may take a while.

Guys, go for hyper ventilating breathing exercises (pranayama), it works even better than meditation (dhayana), both of them are limbs of Yoga. Go for Art of Living Happiness course and learn the Sudarshan Kriya, it’s the best way to vent out the lag energy and renew the system day in and day out, another option is the Wim Hof Method. Tried and tested, best of luck guys ❤️

I’m almost at 1.5 months. def feeling the loneliness and anxiety the past two or so weeks. It’s crazy the high that you initially experience when quitting! Then it’s a bit of a roller coaster after about a month. I understand I’m still very early on in the journey. This video was reassuring.

Went into semen retention and had the same feelings. Lasted about a 8-9 days till today. Was really into my polarity and it was setting this new woman off at work. Alot of sexual tension there. Took an ice shower after work and it was over. Pop goes the gasket. I felt the energy build up leave a little bit. But i used tai chi and proper foods too already begin regenerating the life force. I still have the SR benefits tho. Well. I still hold the habits i developed during the journey. Stopped weed and cigs. Eating healthier. Way more exercise. Reading books again. And all the above. Just the "OOMPH" will take 2-3 days too get back. And im gonna work 14 days now. Setbacks are just baby steps. Be gentle yet disciplined af

I am on week 3, beginning to feel severe depression and being very emotional at times. But then I meditate and do Wim hof, and I´m in balance again. VERY IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEBER. - To meditate - And IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE IN HELL RIGHT NOW(WITH DEPRESSION/ANXIETY)... JUST KEEP GOING.

The first 3 weeks I felt a substancial boost in confidence but now in week 5 I feel depressed, still have motivation for the gym but nothing else really. And I find myself craving sweets and savory meals instead of the healthy meals I should be eating. Must be since I’m not getting the dopamine from pmo

When i started with the things you learn us (nofap, fasting,...) I sometimes get and XTC-feeling ater my workout what feels very good but than i got i little paranoid beceaus of that and than i meditated and took a cold shower. I never felt that great before. (Maybe a youtube video idea :)
